This guy is obviously senile, why should anyone consider what he has to say? The way he mixes up organizations like al Qaeda and Hizballah, although they have completely different ideologies, is ridiculous. Under ordinary circumstances, I think this would be a good plan -- assassinate Ahmadinajad to let Iran and others know such threats against Israel and the world cannot be tolerated. However, all Mr. Amit needs is a bit of faith in the G-d who established Israel. (Remember the meaning of that name! "G-d Prevails!") He told us thousands of years ago that Russia, Iran and other ME nations would seek to destroy Israel. Does Mr. Amit listen to G-d? If he was before me right now, he and I would have a very interesting talk about Ezekiel 38 and 39. It's not my call, but I recommend this: LEAVE IT UP TO G-D TO PROTECT ISRAEL! To the best of my knowledge, Torah Law does not discuss or recognize potential martyrdom as an excuse for not executing the guilty man. This idea that we should somehow be concerned that the guilty person, the evil and destructive man, will become a martyr and, therefore, we must not kill him, is not a consideration. In fact, if we begin to weigh this as a factor when determining his punishment, by somehow introducing such a leniency lest this person become a martyr, we would, willy-nilly, actually end up encouraging those very criminal people we want to stop. In short, whether he becomes a martyr or not is of absolutely no relevance.
