1. I'd give it about 3 days before it collapses
rich ,   New York USA   (02.18.07)
I cant wait to see this perfect functioning, well run government. After all..... they have such a great history of showing that they can govern as a peaceful people. After all they are not calling for the destruction of another people. Will they join the UN...hhmmmm....maybe NATO...???. Will they have a taco Bell...a disneyland?? Will they have functioning stock market?? Anyone who believes the words coming out of abbas and especially haniyeh is either drinking special kool-aid or was probably kicked in the head too many times. Just wait ...this new "government" will be like the just like switzerland....you'll see...........PLEASE...give me a break.
2. Quartet ,The noose around Israel's neck
Marcel ,   Florida   (02.18.07)
Abbas wants the world to give Fatah and hamas a chance to finish what they started,Israel extermination. Of course the world will say one thing and do the opposite allowing the Road Map final solution to achieve what it started out to do. Israel bows to the Quartet with deep religious observance and the noose tightens. The only thing required is for hamas to say three words and keep killing Jews and building up their Islamic front line army and all will be OK for hell's Quartet . The three magic lying words are ; 'We recognize Israel' We know they don't and never will ,but we also know that they are good liars who never really keep any agreements with Israel and will say anything to keep the false peace illusion clouding the minds of deluded Israel.

7. Three Strikes - You're Out.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (02.18.07)
How many more chances do these jokers need? They're playing everyone for suckers. It's time to play hardball - no more chances, no more concessions, let them face the consequences of their actions.
8. Give Israel a chance Hamas
Steve ,   USA   (02.18.07)
B"H Why not give Israel a chance, Hamas? The Hamas charter can be ammended to give Israel a chance.
9. GW and Olmert are war criminals!
Persian CAT ,   Middle-O-Nowhere   (02.18.07)
How do we expect these characters to bring peace to the Israeli and Palestinian peoples? There is absolutely NO indention on the part of the US and Israel to negotiate for peace. Rice has no power, authority and integrity to do anything about peace in the Middle East. These shenanigans will go on as long as GW and his gang are in the WH.

Hold on there my friend, there is no reason for the US or Israel to give the pals a homeland. I hope that they don't. You folks are the invaders in a land that is not yours, and whats worse yet, none of your muslim brethern want you either. These shananigan as you call them will go on until Hashem says ENOUGH and sends Maschiach to destroy his enemies. So get a grip and get over it.

every few years it is the same old thing Israel and the us are never quite happy enough to end the occupation, remove the illegal settlements and allow Palestine to control its own destiney. Bulldozing peoples homes is not an act of peace. The rest of the world always votes in favor of human rights of the Palestinians, butUS and Israel dont want to hear it. Peace and justice for the Palestinians must come. Peace is not antisemitic!
12. time to play hardball with the palestians
zionist forever   (02.19.07)
Bush & Olmert should publicly say to Olmert we are giving you 2 choices. 1) Your government accepts those 3 intenational condiitons and we will negotiate and work towards creating a palestian state peacefully next door to Israel. 2) Dont accept our conditions we turn our backs and walk away from you let you all rot and kill each other untill you accept them. Eventually the palestians are going to have to start asking some tough questions about whats the best thing to do for the people they are supposed to represent the best interests of. Do Bush and Olmert have what it takes to play hardball with the palestians or do they love Abbas so much and want to be seen as a friend of the palestians that they are not willing to do what it takes to actulaly make a change.
