Knowing he could go to prison... altough I think he got a much more time than he should of.... his trial came after the Walker Family gave away cryptogaphic secrets that damaged US security... so Pollard was seen as a opertunity to teach a lesson to those who might be thinking of selling US secerts... When he got his security clearence he signed papers that if he violated his oath of secrecey he would be subject to a hethy fine and/or prison time.....Jews of all people should know breaking a oath is forbiden under torah law.....

You forgot one item before your "End of story". He served more time than imaginable for the crime committed. THAT's where the anti- element comes into play. What have american jews done for pollard ? 22 years in jail.. just a bit longer than I have been alive.. If 22 years of half trying diplomacy has yielded nothing.. well then the time has come to heckle etc.. it works perfectly for our arab cousins!! If he has been in jail for 22 years and faces a life sentance.. I dont see how anything can hurt his situation now.

Anyone who knows the details of this case knows that Pollard should have been freed long ago! This action has - at least - brought his case to the fore!
