2. stupid woman
j ,   ny   (02.21.07)
what is the point of this article? do you know how many people want nothing more than to have a child and just cannot due to medical problems!!?? i am shocked and sad after reading this, AND SO WILL YOUR CHILD WHEN HE OR SHE COMES ACROSS IT ON THE INTERNET YEARS FROM NOW. unless you plan to kill this one too. no words...no words!!!!
3. Why?
Jamal Aboud ,   Ramallah   (02.21.07)
Why ynet publishes such articles? This encourges leading life of sin and immorality.
4. Be more loving for your children
Steve ,   USA   (02.21.07)
B"H It is not the falling apart of life to have a child you love. It is the beginning and it could be an event you very much treasure especially as you get much older. Count your blessings. This could be one of your most prized ones.
5. Karin A
eddie ,   London UK   (02.21.07)
Normally Karin's articels are quite radical , and she is the hardened woman. In this one, she has my sympathy, becasue it is a sad situation. It isnt helpful to talk about how immmoral abortions can be - a single mum raising a child from an uninterested or unknown father is not the best way to raise a child. I m not advocating anything, but mayeb Karin wants a strong family seting in which to have children.. good luck
6. Vulgar article
Julia, Haifa   (02.21.07)
Please ynet stop educating people to have abortion like coffee. This article is vulgar and pathetic and I have no interest in the uterous of this woman that treats babies like a pair of old shoes. Abortion is a serious matter and a painful decision for many women. Abortion is not to be taken lightly, and a child is not a bad thing. Privacy on the uterous and on body fluids wouldn't hurt...
7. Irresponsibility
Morris ,   USA   (02.22.07)
I remember reading an article in which Abigail discussed eschewing her religiousness. It's pretty damn obvious that she made the wrong move. What's it gonna take for her to realize she's hitting a low: a crack addiction on top of everything else? Plus, there'd be 2 more Jews in the world today were it not for her. What a shame...
8. Fertile? I thought you said futile
Fasulia Hudra   (02.22.07)
On the other hand when you described him and you said IMPORTANT I thought you said IMPOTENT. Looks like I am going to finally have to get new batteries for this damn hearing aid.
9. You can do it
enzo ,   london,uk   (02.22.07)
Karin darling, even my Mother was "counting days" when she conceived me...! But no regrets. She went ahead with the pregnancy and...WOW! Just look at me now...! Just look at me...! C'mon..., Karin. You can do it! Have a baby...
10. Abortion as birth control is irresponsible.
Pro-Choice Liberal ,   NY, USA   (02.22.07)
Three strikes and you're out.
11. Karen doesn't need a lecture from us
Pumpkin Pie   (02.22.07)
I'm sorry, Karen, that things didn't go the way you planned. I am praying for you. I know you are scared. Now is a good time to lean on loved ones for support, and also to look within. You will find you have a lot of inner strength that you didn't know was there.
12. #7 learn to read
Meirav ,   Or Akiva   (02.22.07)
Morris, this article is by Karin. You may learn to read before making comments. Then at least we could take you seriously.
13. Sick and disgusting- get help
Robert ,   UK   (02.22.07)
you need professional help to deal with all of these "terrible" things that have happened to you. trust me, you do. and it will help. this article is so evil and offensive, i am shocked. i am never reading these articles again!
14. laundry in public
eddie ,   London UK   (02.22.07)
what kind of reaction did u expect from your readers? : There are the Bashers on one side who will attack you personally, not just for what u write, but everything u did in ur life, so why do u need to share this personal trauma with everyone? I like attacking your ideas sometimes, but in this case i know it's a very painful situation u r in - take care
15. We'll adopt your baby!
Gideon ,   WA, USA   (02.22.07)
We have been trying for years to have children and unsuccessfully. So if you are not intrested in keeping it we will be happy to take it off your hands. Apart from that, I am not sure what the point of this article is, except to show that you don't want unplanned children.
16. try using protection, if not, wait until marriage
ahmed bornstein ,   ny, ny   (02.22.07)
replace sex with vanilla cupcakes
17. if you use iud you arent protected against sexually transmit
ahmed bornstein ,   ny, ny   (02.22.07)
look people, maybe iud feels better, but it doesn't feel great when you have genetal herpes. use a damn condom or don't complain.
18. Biblical pregnancies
paddy MacShneeberg ,   Ur, Mesopotamia   (02.22.07)
It isnt right for everyone here to moralise on Karin's pre-marital sex. In the Bible , Judah (father of the Jewish tribe) went for a one nite stand with his daughter in law, Tamar, and knocked her up. Judah started moralising again calling her a harlot, till he found out he is the father, of course then he takes responsibility. So alot of the so called moralising is more projection of our own base desires. Poor Karin, maybe her child will be the forbearer of Moshiach!
19. choice of protection
muddy waters ,   New Orleans, US of A   (02.22.07)
I have just been in a discusion with my lesbian girlfriend (we have a platonic relshp), about what are the best methods of contraception: my view - a) taking the pill doesnt go well with all women makes some sick etc b) most women dont like the sensation of condoms in which case, she can use the iud or the natural method (risky) double dutch is the safest i guess, but prob less fun than masturbating or abstention

And which method does your lesbian girlfriend use?

22. method
Menachem O'Rafferty ,   Tiberias, Israel   (02.23.07)
Dearest Karina We are very interested in your gyno issues. However, i am curious to figure otu exactly what happened in this case. Could you clarify how many methods you were using: We know u had the IUD, which you removed later. U mention also the counting days method as well as a passing comment on unexpired condoms. We assume u didnt use the pill. However, u used 3 methods simultaneously - that must be bad luck, wouldn't you say?
23. Re: #12 --- You're right, my mistake...

24. C'est la vie, Karin
enzo ,   london,uk   (02.23.07)
I know women who get pregnant with a sneeze and then women who would love a child who cannot conceive. C'est la vie! Unfair, but that's life. There must be a reason...surely.

Who said this column is is virtuous, David? Perhaps you should be reading HaModia or Yated, and learn about how to be virtuous.
