To some of those who say that it is alright to keep flying jets so low over Lebanon because Hizb is rearming, there are a few points that need to be made. 1- In Israel, arms are being smuggled via tunnels all the time, are you able to control that? What do you propose? Bomb, bomb, bomb? Who are you going to bomb? Did that get you anywhere in Lebanon? You have only caused us grief and suffering for years and haven't achieved anything in the process. 2- According to resolution 1701, there is to be no crossing of the blue line by either side whatsoever. So the Lebanese army is justified in firing warning shots. Your jets came very close inland (to Sour - Tyre), and were flying alarmingly low. If our side crosses to your side, you are free to retaliate as well. 3- Why do you keep arguing about keeping this tiny piece of land, the Shebaa farms. What is it to you? Perhaps if it were split in half that would solve the problem. After all, Lebanon is much smaller than Israel, and the Lebanese people have only one Lebanon. Or do you want to keep a pretext that will allow you to launch another war? 4- How is it that before the war, all the residences up in the north of Israel were equipped with shelters? If HA had wanted a war, had been planning for one, don't you think they'd have provided their families with shelters? So who in your mind started this war? 5- The Lebanese army are gradually locating stashes of weaponry and confiscating them. But rest assured, they will use the same weapons to attack any aggressor. Just as you can talk about self defense so can we. 6- Many Lebanese today are neither pro-Hizb nor pro-gov, but they are calling for new elections, for a free and just country, whose only military force is its army. Yes, we have not been able to rule our Lebanon for a long time, but in time we will.

Just as you feel empathy for your brothers and sisters in the Jewish diaspora, we also feel empathy for our Palestinian brothers and sisters who are homeless, who are refugees, who are not welcomed in any country. Even the Lebanese government is not willing to this day to give most of the Palestinians citizenship. And I have wonderful Palestinian friends in Lebanon who can't even secure a job. Why? Because few Lebanese are willing to employ them. The fault lies with those who are smuggling weapons to this and that group, in an attempt to wrest power, to increase hostility. Sadly, our country has been fractured in the past and to this day there are people who don't wish to see the Lebanese unite. Does this not strike you as odd? Which countries would benefit? Why, let us start counting. But we lose count because there are so many. Doesn't it just madden you, that this timy piece of land is so coveted, that it can't be left alone? The solution is so simple, but it's so hard at the same time. To forgive, to really want peace, to disarm, to give back land, exchange prisoners. And the next step, to exchange culture and tradition, to mix, to communicate. The world's problem is lack of communication.

The Palestinians caused the war in Lebanon in 1975 after we had been kind to them and took them in. They took the country from comparison with Switzerland to comparison with Somalia. They killed, raped and tortured thousands of Lebanese. Even today, they fight with the army and it cannot enter their places. The Palestinians in Lebanon are the real state within a state, and not the Hezbollah. The Sunnis should stop dreaming of giving them citizenship. If it happens, there will be war. And it will be all real Lebanese against the Palestinians and their backers. And we haven't forgotten the previous war, so we will not be as humane as last time. After that war is quickly finished, after which all Palestinians will have disappeared from Lebanon one way or another, we will proceed to federalise Lebanon. What do you think all the arms coming in to the country are really for? Once this all happens, the millions of Lebanese abroad can begin to come and take back their rights in their country, rights stolen from them by the Palestinians and their backers. What you should be pushing for is a return of the Palestinians to the West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, and the rest of the Arab countries. At least those countries are rich and can afford the 500,000 Palestinians, and are big enough to hold them all. Lebanon has suffered enough for the Palestinians, much more than its fair share. Its problems will only begin to be alleviated once they are gone, partly because of the problems they create, and partly because they take orders from Syria. i suggest that you go and do some research about who has been the attacker in all arab-israeli conflicts. go read more about the efforts of "Israel" to destroy lebanon. The only group of people who can stop HA is the Sinoria government with the help of anti-Syrian countries. Without this HA will countinue to grow. Israel will countinue to fly over southern Lebanon, no one can stop them. DNA testing has proven this, that most Lebanese are in fact the descendants of the Phoenicians, and that they share common DNA with people on other former Phoenician colonies. Furthermore, the Arabic we speak may as well be a completely different language to the Arabic the Saudis, Egyptians and northern Africans speak. The reason for this is that up until about a hundred years ago, Lebanon's Christians did not speak Arabic but spoke Aramaic, and the influence is found in Lebanon's spoken language. Attempting to make everyone Arab, especially when they are not, is simply cultural genocide. It is whitewashing your very own history and culture, the very acts many accuse the Jews of doing to the Palestinians in Israel.
