I'm a 6'3" 265 Irishman. The only time anybody has ever beaten me up was two years ago when three guys (for reasons I will not go into here) attacked me from behind with baseball bats. I recognized two of them and they got theirs. One of them spent three months with a tube in his throat. If you get the chance, read the book Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. A line from that book describes me very well. When I beat somebody, I beat them so thoroughly that they will never again pose a threat to me. When people cross me to the point where I need to take action, those actions are so severe that those unfortunate half-wits will never look another man in the eyes again. The other guy I recognized should regain the full use of his legs at some point in his life. If he ever sees a baseball bat again I'm sure he'll have a nervous breakdown. Oddly enough everybody I know considers me an affable, peaceful person 99% of the time. Oh, and for the record I've only ever met two Israelis. Your nations industrial base in the northeast relies on cheap, abundant electricity from the massive hydro dams in northern Quebec. Also, almost 2/5 of all US oil imports come through Canada. Your economy would grind to a halt and you would see hyper-inflation on everything that needs to be bought. What many people don't seem to understand is that there are more proven oil reserves in Canada than the rest of the world combined, and our Northern Waters are perhaps the worlds best bet for locating new mega reserves of oil and natural gas. Perhaps you should research how dependent your nation is on Canada's natural resources before you make such a broad assumption.

Sometimes when people are offended they say foolish things. Whether or not the USA needs Canada to be successful isn't really the point here. Read your comments and understand what you're saying. However I did so for two reasons: 1 I've learned to sow seeds, then wait to see whihc, if any, take root. 2 There is not complete agreement that "all" Israel will be saved. My own belief is that the 144,000 witnesses will be 12,000 from each of the tweleve tribes and that "all: Israel - at that time, will hear, but that not all will accept. I see nothing that ensures everyone, so I see part of the Great Commission being to continually sow seeds, and then nourish those that sprout. This is what I was attempting to do, along with the clarification I offered. If I were speaking to someone in person, I'd have the benefit of at a minimum, non-verbal feedback to help me know when to press on. That isn't the case here. However, should I get a response asking more, I will certainly follow that through.

At some point people have to take resposibility for their own actions. The US wants people that they can work with that will not hold them hostage for oil.
