2. History doesn't lie
enzo ,   london,uk   (02.24.07)
Do not forget notarial documents. They are very very important. I have personally traced my family back to 1423 and I did it all by myself spending months and months in local archives. But it is a great satisfaction once you do it...! You know where you stand in this world. History and genetics do not lie.
3. Over simplification
Malka ,   Washington, DC USA   (02.25.07)
I have been a genealogist for fifty years: researching first my father's family and then my mother's/ I have seen the tools and resources change vastly, but never have I seen a published work that so over simplifies the task of the genealogist or family history researcher. This article has all of the facts correct, but misses the point totally. Sorry, but you make it seem so simple and so boring.
4. will not prevent disaster .will not give benifets
salwa ,   kifelhares palastin   (02.25.07)
from my father i knew that he had an unkle losted in alyaman at the othomani date with the soldiers sent by the turki goverments . i knew its name was ali saleh ,,as the name of the family is saleh // when the yamani presedent was elected and its name was ali saleh one of my cousins said oh it is the losted uncle ... it is the fun of this story without research or paying money ... so i think these researches will be diffecult to have a correct result .. and these researches will not prevent any disaster or help in any thing but a lost of time and a lost of money .. for not fun but interest

Like this each one of you will face the nightmare facts ... from where is his roots and where he lives now .... i think this will make alot of Israelians leave direct to their home lands where their mother language came from .
