A strong Israel requires that a basic level of honesty exist among its leaders. The recent government scandals have only hurt Israel and weaken its soul. Now that we know in advance that Esterina Tartman has no problem lying about her background it is time to nominate a diffierent candidate for tourism minister.

I am always amazed when those on the allegedly moral religious right come to the defence of such a morally bankrupt case as this simply because they support her agenda. Here we have Rob in the UK # 9 who seeks to define who is a Jew and who is a "Pseudo Jew" and accuses those who find MKs who lie about their qualifications as "Israel hating". In face Rob, it is quite the opposite. Nothing speaks to hatred of the Jewish state, than making allowances for the deterioration of the legitimacy of its democratic institutions.This is not a matter of left vs. right. It is a matter of expecting those seeking or holding power to be honest about their qualifications, much as any academic institution does, and any company does about their employees. Israel will get a brave and wise Tourism Minister if member of parliament Tartman accepts the job.... The howling dogs writing comments against her would best do a self.inventory first. When they declare themselves perfect, then they can start howling again.... Basically we have someone who has the disadvantage of the pain and effects of a spinal injury but overcame everything to get an education and succeed in politics.... She also has understanding and insight..... Those without sin, cast the first stone.

What on earth is going on in Israel? It seems from the surface the entire political, judicial, military and law enforcement systems are being run third world leadership from a banana republic.

She looked good, in person an on the camera. And she looked good, on paper. But, the truth was rather ugly. Tartman's saga is something of a metaphor for the the "Jewish State in Palestine" concept. Ms. Tartman's resume was based upon wishful thinking, Theodor Herzl's manifesto was similarly based in fantasy and self-delusion. There is a grim irony here, the would-be Minister of Tourism, the promoter-in-chief for Zionism, is also found to be, "not as advertised". Ms. Tartman may be the perfect candidate for the job.

A minister should be appointed based on ability to do a job, not on college degrees. A degree means nothing when it comes to love of a Homeland or ability to function under pressure. She's a good looking Gal, give her a chance. She certainly can't be any worse than all the rest of the government WITH college Degrees.
