I'd just like to thank the AP and YNet for providing this information and the talkback system. What ever one thinks about these tactics, it's clear that human shields are being used on both sides. Also, it's pretty clear from these talk backs that the hatred and irrationality is probably equal/mutual on both sides. I hope this talk back system helps you all to vent a little and maybe reflect on what's going on. To me it seems that both sides are blameworthy. You may disagree about the degree of blameworthyness, but you can agree that 1) this news shows that both sides have used human shields which may have negative moral implications and 2) there is a significant amount of anger and emotionally influenced arguments that people seem to have in these talk backs (and I assume the same is true of the Palestinian side). Does anyone know of a Palestinian analogue of Ynet news? I'd be curious to check out what people are posting there...
