It is not quite clear whether you meant that they did not make such statements while in the West Bank or whether you meant that they didn't do so at all: the latter is quite simply untrue, as you should be aware from a cursory search of German press reporting One German newspaper article had the headline "The Holy Land must not be allowed to become a christian open-air museum", in another article the difficulties which Christians have in an Islamist dominated context are quite clearly articulated. These statements will be understood as criticism of Palestinian society both in the German and in a Palestinian context. After all, they made it clear that the main point of their tour was to express solidarity with the Palestinian Christian minority. This does of course not detract from their other indirect and therefore problematic comparisons, but you don't do yourself a favour by throwing untrue accusations after them.

if you look at it from the victim's point of view, it will be exactly the same. The horror that the victim experience is independent from the reason why is it done against them. But there is a lot of similarities starting from the Warsaw ghetto wall and the west bank wall to moving the Jews out from their homes and also moving the Palestinians out from their homes. The killing can also be the same because both kill deliberately, in the Israeli case they fine the killer with one shekel, if they find him guilty. Remember Dir Yasin, kufr kassem, tantoura, Gaza beach family, ...etc. Israel could claim they defend themselves and the Nazis use to claim they defend themselves against the control of the Jews on the economy. Both claims are wrong, but the horror the victims experience is the same. I would be the first to agree that conditions are not ideal, but as someone who drives on the road with the Palestinians every day I know that they there is some freedom of movement and it isn't under prison conditions. Truthfully, life was easier for us all before the terror wave of the last intifada, but there are still thousands of Palestinians coming in by Maccabim and Modain each day. I think that if you were honest you would acknowledge that the security measures you so dislike are the consequences of terror attacks by Palestinians on Israelis in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. We are not going to sit idly by while people try to kill us. If you don't understand that by now, you will eventually.

A good portion of the continent of Africa lives in poverty too. Shall we compare them to Warsaw too? Unlike Warsaw, nobody is forcing the people to live like pigs. The author understands the motivation of the Catholic Bishop's over-the-top criticism of Israel's treatment of the Palestinians living in the West Bank. One would think that a prominent Catholic Church official (German, no less) would have the intelligence and decency to question the billions of dollars in aid given to the Palestinians and were never used to build hospitalsschools, roads, or industries. Also, I wonder if this Catholic Bishop has ever protested the emotional genocide perpetrated against innocent children by the Church's refusal to deal with rampant pedophilia by so many priests. However, I have another conspiracy theory to consider. Could it be that the Palestinian Authority agreed to lessen the persecution of Christian Arabs in return for the Bishop's criticisam of Israel? that Nablus is different from Warsaw because some member of the Nablusi population are terrorists or terrotist sympathzers. That's a pretty weak argument, my friend, because it validates the other similarities: both are cities in occupied territories and in both identical tactics are used to subjugated and control the resident population.
