1. CEO
Ben Hur ,   Manhattan, USA   (03.09.07)
With his two years as a JR senator, and his EXTENSIVE foreign policy experience, not to mention the huge administrative/management experience senators have, he'll solve the world's problems in about what, two days? This man's resume wouldn't get him a job as the CEO for any Fortune 400 firm, yet you think he's qualified to run the US Government and Armed Forces, and the Free World. Pander and the Dem Jews allow their idealogy trump reality. Sad, since everyone seems to think that American Jews only care about what a candidate SAYS about Israel, when, in reality, 75% haven't even visited, and treat the conflict there like some philosophical exercise to be debated in the Sorbonne.

5. RUDY GIULIANI has SAVVY and PLUCK !!
RCA ,   USA   (03.09.07)
Obama might be a nice guy, but there is no basis for trust in Obamas' words because he has no track record and very little experience. All we really know about him is that he gives good speeches, and he is likeable. What that will mean, especially outside the US, is anyones guess. I would rather choose an experienced crisis tested and successful leader like New Yorker RUDY GIULIANI, who the record shows, DOES WHAT HE SAYS. He is friend of the Jew and GOOD FOR YOU !
6. Makes Jews SNOOZE rather than WOOS !

Does anyone remember the wise philosopher named Rod Stewart? "If I listened long enough to you, I'd find a way to believe that it's all true. Knowing that you lied straight-faced while I cried, still I look to find a reason to believe . . . If you listen long enough, Yisrael . . . Barack Obama's is not the voice we need to sh'ma

Ali ,   loubnan   (03.10.07)
Israel needs to realise that American policy in the Meast will be changed to a more reconciliatory tone for the future ...even handed ............... kyriate shmona 's house ...versus the whole south lebanon and the cluster bombs and the level of distruction .......he is very irrelevent as well any candidate when it comes to the pales-israeli issues ..at the end of the day ....Obama will never change the outcome of your summer Humiliation ....by the part time fighters ....and i am sure will do it again .
15. Hes there to energise the party - his time comes later

Obama sounds wonderful! I'm an Israeli and I would most definitely vote for him! His rational, liberal thinking is exactly what America needs to help heal the aftermath of the sloppy and destrcutive Bush admin
17. Osama Barack -
shanatova ,   australia   (03.10.07)
In the Book of Judges Barak was a Judge with Deborah. Will HaShem give to Osama Barack the wisdom of the Judges. The State Department has a history of anti-semitism. Will Osama Barack change this Department that has been around for a long time with its entrenched anti-semetic ways. shanatova
18. words
Martin   (03.10.07)
what did he do to merit the bombastic title "genuine friend of Israel" ? same people call Clinton similarly. All he did had terrible results for Israel.
19. Personally, I like Obama. But he has no executive experience
Zvi ,   USA   (03.10.07)
Obama has always had a very good relationship with his local Jewish community, and I believe that he is also a warm friend of Israel. However, I don't think he has the experience to be president of the United States in this very troubled time. He has never wielded large-scale executive authority, which is quite a different thing from the shared, slower-paced authority of the Senate. I cannot see him (yet) handling a fast-paced military crisis involving Iranian nuclear weapons, for example. (For the record, I thought George W Bush would do a terrible job in the foreign policy arena, too, but from the beginning, Bush consistently underperformed even my lowest expectations). HOWEVER, I wish Obama long and continued success - in the Senate, maybe some day as Illinois governor, and maybe after that as president - and I wish him a strong and enduring friendship with the Jewish people.
20. With Dems its all about PERCEPTION
Johnson ,   USA   (03.10.07)
or should I say DECEPTION
21. Am I too cynical about politicians?
Steve ,   USA   (03.10.07)
YNet wrote: "During the speech, Barack Obama recounted a visit to Israel in 2006, and described the damage he saw caused to a home in Kiryat Shmona by a Hizbullah rocket before the Lebanon war." I'm a Repubican. Bush and the Republicans have let us down. Bush has betrayed Israel in order to appease his Saudi friends. But isn't Obama looking for Jewish votes and support. If he thought he could get more support from Arab Americans would he be talking about Israel's "crimes" in Lebanon last summer? Why should we trust this politician?
22. BEWARE HUSSEIN OBAMA
Shuli ,   CLEVELAND OH USA   (03.10.07)
He is courting the Jewish vote by telling them exactly what they want to hear. As soon as he gets into office, his true feelings will come out.
23. Obama=Phony panderer

24. Don’t consider Jewish democrat Israeli friends
e.m ,   s.f   (03.10.07)
The Jews whom support Rudy Giuliani are Israeli friends and I believe Rudy will be the next President of US because he is going to have support of majority evangelical and also some democrat too, Rudy has proved himself to us

Proud American ,   Birmingham, USA   (03.10.07)

Hey buddie, don't call all the american jews stupid. You're reading what the filthy liar liberals want you to know. Most of the american jews support the current administration, are for our christian friends and for Israel. Don't misunderstand the reality, the idiot who wrote this second article about Usama/Obama is part of that liberal media that spoil our newspapers and TV in the US and Israel. They love Europe, they understand the hardship of the pals and arabs, they are for open borders and love the minorities in our countries but not in the filthy countries, they defend the barbarians whenever they can, hey guys, you seem to have your own New York Times, LA times, W Post and main networks..Good luck!
