Grief, it has to be delt with. Yes, some people hold on too long even after the traumatic events are over with; But at the same time, if it's not delt with, like it has been now, or in whatever way brings closure, it eats you like a cancer. I know this because I've dealt with grief and depression for many years myself! James K

The Ethiopians must go out an help those from Dafur, that would bring them healing.If after two decades if they are still suffering from the trauma, I must say they have not been davening or got engaged with the Lord G-d of Yisrael.Here in this part of the world we still have many victims of the Japanese Occupation WW II, which were also like the holocaust.We have seen some areminians too. There is no justification for anyone or regim to abuse any person, like these ethiopians . But how mush is enough? How much must Israel do for them. When is enough ? On one hand they need a memorial on the other hand the Israeli Govt builds one for them. I just feel they should just move on with their lives,Seek medical help .Two decades is too long to have waited.If they are jews they would know the power of the mourners kaddish by now. The waiting for a memorial hall is really not necessary. It is all for the WORLD VIEW ONLY.They have to MOVE ON ! Scold me if you all must, i give youll the right to scold me :)
