8. Agree
john ,   bristow   (03.17.07)
Promoting discussion is the best way to influence the Palestinian government to move closer to peace. Shunning it will push it further from peace and will not help promote moderation in the Palestinian sie. I believe Israelis not ready to pay the price yet and that is why it is using this execuse for not talking.
9. Hamas/Hizbullah undercover agent inside Israel's government.
Chanan ,   USA   (03.17.07)

How sick! Ben Hur, move back to Israel this MINUTE and stop waisting your time at littlegreenfootballs LESS BARK AND MORE BITE!! You want change, come back to Israel and make it, we need Jews like you to inspire us and to teach the "lame" Jews how to act and how to fight.

Cynic ,   USA   (03.17.07)
13. Don't be haters for the sake of hating
Rami ,   Nazareth, Israel   (03.17.07)
This man cares about Israel more than all the jewish readers who posted hate messages. His remarks are in line with the zionist labor part policy, as a matter of fact deputy defence minister, Ben Eliazer, and many other echoed the same sentiment. But because they are jews no one bother to spread a message of hate. Peace will only be achived through negotiation, half the pal cabinet are people that israel signed agreements with in the past, no reason to stop talking now. Don't be haters...
14. History lessons
Xaxam   (03.17.07)

Brod ,   USA   (03.17.07)
Is he an agent of the dark forces? Does he represent the interests of Israel or the interests of the dark forces? If he is championing the causes of the dark forces, he should be dismissed from his position.
17. NO RECOGNITION OF TERRORIST GOVT TILL OUR CAPTIVES COME HOME

21. Majadele has every right to be wrong
eh-oop ,   UK   (03.17.07)
No one should think the worse of him for saying what he sincerely believes. But he must either change his mind or resign, as governments should act on a basis of collective responsibility, and Olmert's declared policy, if he actually sustains it, is right, for a change. The reason why is that, on the other side, too, there should be collective responsibility - and the dominant minority group of ministers, Hamas, makes it very clear that it will not keep to agreements with Israel made by previous governments and retains its Charter commitment to kill Jews. Sadly, there is no sign of the other ministers putting Hamas to the test on this. If they did, it would change matters significantly, but they don't. Meanwhile, my government's wretched Foreign Office announces that it, along with many European partners, will work with this government of terrorists, while wolves are gathering on the northern frontier, too, with the EU's ever-mischievous Javier Solana declaring the EU's support (he means mine, not that he asked me) for a policy which re-exposes the area's population to Syrian artillery strikes, as it was before 1967, and which puts Ein Gev again within hand grenade range of the forces of the near east's principal terrorist state (oops - nearly forgot, they crossed the 1949 Armistice Line and seized Israeli territory in the 1950s and it's more than just the Golan they're claiming now, isn't it?). Sadly, in the battle between good and evil, compromise necessarily harms the good and doesn't even promise that the good will live to fight another day. Yes, the Israeli government must stand firm. But that's not enough. it must clearly and publicly explain the moral basis for its position - language that the EU and Foreign Office may hold in contempt. Unfortunately for them, within a framework cast in moral terms, facts outweigh perceptions. And, if you know the facts, it's easy to expose the rottenness at the foundation of the EU and Foreign Office positions. There are always enough people of goodwill to hold politicians to account. It would be good if they were to make a bit more noise about it.
22. To Niki # 19
Rami ,   Nazareth, Israel   (03.17.07)
Thank you for your voice of reasoning. It is heart warming to see that Israeli-Jews who want peace still speak out.
23. # 15: I'm not sure what u mean or refer to...!!!
Rami ,   Nazareth   (03.17.07)
24. Let him shut up!
jason white ,   afula,israel   (03.17.07)
he has no right to sit in the knesset! We need a law that says only those who have served in the I.D.F. can sit in the knesset or vote for the knesset.
25. Olmert, peretz and the arab - what a disaster
zionist forever   (03.18.07)
What made Olmert and Peretz think that there would be any benefits to having an arab in the cabinet who refuses to even sing the anthem. There is an arab who doesnt even recognise the idea of a jewish state in the cabinet and he is calling for govrnmment policies to be designed to help the palestians more than Israelis. Time to hold a vote of no confidence overthrow this government and all its ministers replace them witch capable men who have the interests of the jewish state at heart.
26. whats good for arabs is bad for Israel
zionist forever   (03.18.07)
If Syria decided to fire rockects with chemical warheads at Israel arab politicians would say great idea just make sure you dont fire your rockets at arab population centres and I will formerly propose to the knessest that no efforts are made to stop this attack. If its a problem for the jewish state its a celebration for the arabs. We need a right of return .. a right to send the arabs back to the arab states so Israel can truly be at last a jewish state where all its citizens are jews without this fifth colum working to undermine Israel from the inside.
