Obviously, Israel now does not have powerful leaders. The president, Katsav, is invloved in sexual issue, the PM is invloved in corruption issues. What kind of peace these leaders can make??? The ideal solution for them is blaming the Ps. However, the roles of the game have been changed and the cannot claim that there is no partners on the Ps side. Even Hamas is willing for peace deal now. If Hamas says explicitly that they recognize Israel and all the violance attaks are stopped, What Israel is willing to offer??? Israel is concerned because it is the time for paying the peace bill, the Israeli propoganda and twisting the truth will mnot work anymore.

Ok, but did Hamas shot one bullet since two years against Israel? The answer is NO, so why all this negative propaganda Israel is conducting againts Hamas? Hamas is even less harmful than Fatah armed groug !!! 5. It's clear to everyone in the world that Israel loves bloodshed and the talks about peac now is BS. Israel is feckless, but not hapless. Israel is not pre-WW2 Germany or Poland, but acts like it is. Israel has no business talking to a Palestinian government (whether Fatah or Hamas dominated) which doesn't recognize it a a state, denounce and act against violence and adhere to all prior agreements. I find it astonishing that Israel is expected to recognize and talk to an entity which really doesn't exist yet, while that same ambiguous entity doesn't reciprocate. It's truly amazing. The Arabs had a chance in 48 and blew it. They had chances in 67 and at Camp David, but blew it. Now they expect recognition while not themselves accepting a state in the UN. This entire discussion is absurd. Until Israel gets tough, both with itself, and the Arabs, the farce will go on. Palestine is Jordan. The so-called territories are disputed areas, not Israeli, and not Palestinian. Israel should consider them autonomous, that's all.

" What are we willing to offer? Heck, if Hamas comes out and says it wants peace with Israel and says explicitly that Hamas recognizes Israel we'll give you your independent state. However, Hamas has NOT said they want peace with Israel (they want peace WITHOUT Israel), and Haniya keeps saying Hamas will never recognize Israel. So unfortunately, it really doesn't matter if Israel has strong or weak leaders - Hamas does not want peace with Israel.

I can not agree more with what you have stated!!!! Israel created it's enemies and helped form and support them.... Now it's trying to use propaganda to make the world be on their side...
