Roni   (03.18.07)
3. Oh really, Peres?
Khalid   (03.18.07)
"Right of return means only one thing - turning Israel into a Palestinian state." But all these Ynet posters say there never were Arabs there before Israel. Someone clear this up!!
4. Right of return
(03.18.07)
the PALESTINIANS should not have to suffer because of WW2- why should they have to deal with the jews taking over their life and land. why dont the jews move to Germany and have Germany take jews.
5. Now, Abbas. Do you hear what Papa is telling you?
David ,   Jerusalem   (03.18.07)
Little boy, Olmert, went crying to Papa, complaining to him that you don't like him anymore and don't want to recognize him as your brother ;-( ;-( ;-( Just keep it up, Abbas. 'Tis much better that you and your buddies continue your violence against Olmert's people, Israel. This way Israel officially won't have to deal with you as "peace" partners. Yippy! Who needs such "partners" to live side by side with anyhow?
6. Nonsense & More Nonsense
Adina Kutnicki ,   US   (03.18.07)
What prior agreements are they babbling about? NONE of the agreements were ever adhered to by Arafat et al. Who the hell are the Quartet and the Israeli regime kidding?
7. To #3 Either way khalid you'll never be allowed to return :)
Roni   (03.18.07)
8.  3 Khalid
Sagi ,   Israel   (03.18.07)
Yes Khalid, the Arabs were here before the Jews of 1948 or of 1892, but the Jews were here before the Arabs of 650 and what's more Khalid, they were always here. Does that clear it up for you ?
9. Who is President Bush fooling anyway?
Steve ,   USA   (03.18.07)
Mr. Bush wants to establish a Palestinian terrorist state in the Holy Land. He has made this clear on so many occasions, to the American people and to the world at large; in a letter to then Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz in August 2001, and to the American people only days following the Saudi backed 9/11 atrocities on American soil. This is simply posturing on the president's part. GOP party platform calls for expulsion of thousands of Jews from Biblical Israel and the establishment of Bush's Palestinian jihadist state. Mr. Bush is Saudi Arabia's best friend (ever) in the White House; he and his father and family friend James Baker III. These are good friends of America's and Israel's enemies. The Saudis are dedicated to Israel's destruction and ultimately America's annihilation. Wake up Jews and Christians. Wake up.
10. If Clinton were president
Christopher ,   Boston, MASS USA   (03.18.07)
she's already be in Gaza City giving Haniyeh a huge hug with tears of joy!
11. the usa dont want to talk to us?
palistinian ,   usa   (03.18.07)
12. Go Our NEW Government GO
Ali ,   Ramallah-Palestine   (03.18.07)
The new Palestinian Unity Government will be recognized from all the world exept two racism and occupation States: Israel, the leader of opression and racisim and discrimantaion in this globe, and America, the main source of hate and occupation on this Earth. We don't need the Israeli recognetion, neither the American. Now our unity government will talk to the world with one clear and vivid voice. Sooner or later, the Israelis will pay the costs of their wall, occupation, racesim, and hate. I don't hate jews, I just hate occupation and oppression.
13. Christopher: what if Clinton? what if Kerry?
Steve ,   USA   (03.18.07)
Clinton is not the president. John Kerry is not the president. Good grief. George W. Bush is the president. Isn't he? Come on, please let's be honest. Mr. Bush is the president; not Hillary Clinton. If or when Clinton is the president, then we can attack Ms. Clinton. What are you doing? Apologizing for this failed Mahmoud Abbas is a man of peace-loving, Palestinian state-loving president?
14. why is stopping violence a requirement for peace?
shimon peres   (03.18.07)
15. Sagi #8, thanks but no, it doesn't clear it up.
Khalid   (03.18.07)
"Jews were here before the Arabs of 650 and what's more Khalid, they were always here. Does that clear it up for you?" No it doesn't, then how come Peres says the right of return amounts to turning Israel into a Palestine? Look, you guys are all pathetic, all you do is regurgitate rhetoric of your leaders (or newspapers) so there's no use in arguing. But doesn't it say something when only ONE of your prime ministers in your history was actually born in Israel? You have stolen the land of those you now force to never mention it. That is evil. By the way, that one PM was Rabin, born in Jerusalem as a Palestinian.
16. Politics in DIRT

17. Thank God the US is still sane, not brainwashed!
(03.18.07)
18. KHALID, ISRAEL WANTS JORDAN BACK WITH THOSE MTS OVER THERE
ITS ALL ISRAEL ,   ..............DACON9   (03.18.07)
19. #12 New Government?
Lina ,   USA   (03.18.07)
You have a problem Ali. Israel "the leader of opression and racisim and discrimantaion in this globe" is your main employer, source of medical care and provider of utility services. America, "the main source of hate and occupation on this Earth", pays 1/3 of your foreign aid. You are dependent on both of these countries. Do you ever question the role you and your leaders play to prolong the occupation? And what is the difference between the new government and the old government? They look the same to me.
20. We fund, train, arm and feed your mass-murderers
Ben Temalion ,   Shiloh, MO USA   (03.18.07)
Mainstream arabs who maim and kill you are being armed, funded and even traind by US even in the US. Wemay do a direct deposit to abba's/mazen's munich account, but we enable him to continue to do what he did in munich.
21. Taking bets. Who will be the first to cave?
Steve   (03.18.07)
Will Olmert cave-in first or with Bush? Anyone care to wager who will be the first to say, "come on, let's go ahead and negotiate with Hamas." (?)
22. To be fair
(03.18.07)
You are asking the Palistinian new government to do such things ... ok ... but you didn't say in case they do it what they will get .... will Israel go back to 1967 borders ?? will Israel let the refegee comes back ???? will Israel leave the Palistinians to live in an independence state without puting it's nose in their life ????? ... if yes .... the Palistinians should axcept it soon and they will not have any excuse anymore ... but if .... so why mr. President they should axcept this condetions ?? ... stop this two scales in each issue in the middle east ....
23. so what
ali ,   Cleveland   (03.18.07)
it is the PA who doesn't want to talk to the USA ....not the other way around .....get it in your head ..you need to deal with whoever the palestinians elect to lead them ...you can't put conditions on people's choice ..how dare you . MR W credibility in the world is in a new low anyway .
24. To #15 You are a fool: Netanyahu, Sharon were born in Israel
Max   (03.18.07)
25. THE PALESTINIANS MUST BOW DOWN!
Mikael Abdul-Bari ,   Detroit USA   (03.18.07)
Echoing U.S. President George W. Bush, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said, "We can't have contact with members of a government that justifies resistance." The Palestinians must bow down and meekly submit to economic oppression. imperialism, injustice, illegal occupation and seizures of their lands. The Palestinians must gladly die and be happy to offer their children as human sacrifices. Many pious, observant Jews do not agree with Zionism and are displeased with the way the Palestinians are treated. The Almighty God will not bless Israel until its people obey The Law and treat the Palestinians humanely. Only then will Israel have peace with the Arabs. The Palestians, be they Muslim or Christian, be they religious or secular, be they HAMAS or Fatah, young or old, man, woman or child, they will not give-up their lawful and just resistance.
26. #24 you are the fool
Spinner ,   World   (03.19.07)
Sharon was born 27 February 1928 as, Ariel Scheinermann to Shmuel and Dvora (formerly Vera) in Kfar Malal. His family immigrated to the British Palestine Mandate from Russia, fleeing the Red Army. Sharon's father spoke Yiddish and his mother spoke Russian, and Sharon learned to speak Russian as a young boy. So this would make his Palestinian along with every other PM... BUT Stinky!!! If you want to own up to him.... :D
27. To #26 Please learn how to construct a basic argument
Max   (03.19.07)
a "palestinian" by the name of khalid in his post #15 asserted that "only ONE of your prime ministers in your history was actually born in Israel" In my post #24 I pointed out to my uneducated arab friend that he was flat out wrong: Ariel Sharon was born in 1928 in Kfar Malal - a village located in central Israel Ehud Barak was born in 1942 in a Jewish kibbutz Look it up - Google, Wikipedia, etc. Your points about where Sharon's parents came from or what language they spoke are irrelevant to the argument - they have nothing to do with the fact that Israeli PMs that I mentioned were in fact born in Israel. If in an attempt to save your face you are thinking of pointing out that Sharon and Barak were born before their towns officially became part of Israel then you should look at Benjamin Netanyahu, who was born in Tel Aviv in 1949 (AFTER Israel was established). Thus, I was right and you and your buddy khalid were wrong - Israel did have PMs who were born in Israel. Oh well, no biggie, arabs are used to be the loosing side - be it an argument online or a war with Israel. Thanks for coming out though.
28. PA Unity government
lydia ,   Brisbane, Australia   (03.19.07)
The once mighty US is up to it's ears in Iraq and Iran and Afghanistan and Pakistan and and etc, etc, the Jews like one scrawny mangy mongrel cornered and surrounded can yap all it wants, everyone watching the scenario already knows the ending.
29. #27 your ego will get you nowhere Maxass
Spinner ,   World   (03.19.07)
I did look up EVERY PM in Wikipedia Maxass! As I stated in #26, if you could read...I said every PM, BUT Stinky!!! If you want to own up to him!! YES, being born BEFORE a state/country is formed makes you born from the prior state...even if it changes names!!! So there for, ONLY NETEN (in which you speak about) would be the ONLY PM born in "Israel"!!!! Like I said before in #26!!!! Having ONE PM born in Israel makes your statement "Israel did have PMs who were born in Israel." absolutely wrong!! My uneducated jewish friend!! It should be stated as such - Israel did have one PM who were born in Israel thus far. As for my copy and paste from Wikipedia....well it goes to show you that you didn't read the details from that site!! Otherwise you would have noticed this piece of info was from there and would not direct me to that site!!! Thank you, now please return to your ego!!! Sit and spin!!
30. No country would deal with this.
DR ,   Florida, USA   (03.19.07)
Name one country on this planet that would hold peace talks with a neighbor that openly states that it wants to destroy that said country. This is such an easy concpet to grasp, yet people expect israel to bend over backwards and deal with a terror group? Get real people. Palis need to stop firing qassams into Israel daliy, stop trying to come in with suicide belts, stop shooting at motorists and stop throwing rocks at medics. Then they need to stop teaching their kids to hate Israelis, start educating them about real history, give them a chance at a normal life without brainwashing them etc. Only then, can there be a real peace.
