3. Killing Jews is legitimate for Arabs.
Isaac Haskiya ,   Roskilde - Denmark   (03.19.07)
Of course Egypt killed Israeli prisoners of war but then this is normal. Arabs have the right of lfe and death on the Jewish Dhimmi. who is "protected" until the Islamic ruler thinks otherwise. We live by other standards. The big problem resides in the attitude of the International Opinion whose eyes see only what they want to see. Arab opinion .... we know!

You people still dont get it, you were the ones who made the first documentary and informed the world of what the IDF did to the egyptian captives, this information came from your side, it wasnt an egyptian who claimed this, you did, it is sort of a confession. Then after the reaction, you make another documentary about what the egyptian army did to your soldiers, and you want us and the world to take the same stance againt agypt. This is rediculous!! the first story is definatly more credible than the second story becuase the first one is considered to be a confession by you and the second story is considered to be a public relation issue, because its doen by you as well!! Is it clear!?
5. in 73, was Israel taken by surprise both in war and peace ?
(03.19.07)
quoted from Abraham Rabinovich's covering of the Yom Kippur War for the Jerusalem Post: "They don't want to surrender," said the company commander. "They want to shake hands." Some of the Egyptians kissed the Israeli soldiers they had been firing at a few minutes before. Angry shouts from Egyptian officers brought their men back. Before long, the commandos and paratroopers were meeting daily to brew up coffee and play backgammon. Soccer games followed. The men came to know each other's first names and showed off pictures of wives and girlfriends. There was an occasional kumsitz, with the Egyptians slaughtering a sheep and Shamir's men contributing food parcels from home. For Egypt, the war was a towering accomplishment. For Israel, it was an existential earthquake, but one whose repercussions were ultimately healthier than those of the Six Day War. The trauma of the war's opening was not a nightmare to be suppressed but a national memory to be perpetuated, a standing reminder of the consequences of shallow thinking and arrogance. http://mobile.myjewishlearning.com/history_community/Modern/Overview_The_Story_19481980/IsraelBorn/Military/YK_War/YKWar_Rabinovich.htm

7. #4 This isn't Lebanon
Aharon   (03.19.07)
Here in Israel, our media does not represent the government. The media is independant. So the first wasn't a "confession" and the second wasn't an "accusation", they were both factual documentaries.
8. Make an English version downloadable
Lee   (03.19.07)
on the internet. The international media does not care but private people will download and watch it. Other than that I am really not suprised in the least.

In 1948, 70 Egyptian Jews were murdered in the Jewish Quarter of Cairo by the Moslem Brotherhood. Let us look at the future instead of making accusations at each other.

And please explainto the world why your secret police murders anyone who speaks out against your totalitarian regime. By the way Mubarak, could you please tell the world how you came into office, and the election that you won. You are nothing but a stupid version of Joe Stalin, and you're not kidding anyone.

15. It's funny how...
Mustafa ,   Canada   (03.19.07)
Israel starts all the crap and then blames others for reacting. Like why the hell did Israel start the war in the first place? And I'm talking about the very first war, the 1948. And now Israel is blaming Egypt for defending itself? So what if Egypt killed a couple soldiers? Israel has been slaughtering Palestanians since 1948 until now. And who's giving a damn? NO ONE! no one cares about Palestanians because they're Muslims. But now that the world heard about what Egypt did to some Jews, the whole world is gonna hate Egypt and might boycott it or something.

Who cares about Palestinians? Probably the Jordanians who at first shut their "brothers" in basically concentration camps (PC name - refugee camps), and then shot the hell out of them. OR maybe the Lebanese "brothers" who only needed a little bit of looking away (not even a backing) from a stronger side like Israel to start slaughtering their own Palestinian neighbors. And the list goes on. Like the thief Arafat cared about his brethren. Or the murderer Haniyeh. You're right, no one cares about the Palestinians, except for ISRAEL which is trying to give them a state while they are biting the only hand that can truly help them. You know, if my dog bites me, I'll smack him too.

Gene, thank you for the link to an interesting video. It surely begs the question: what dirty business did the Israelis catch the Americans engaging in that the president didn’t want revealed? My grandfather, who rode in the North Irish Horse, told me of double crosses by the Americans in the First World War that cost the lives of almost the whole Irish regiment

Mustafa, where does this play out for you? You spout nonsense about Egypt attacking Israel the very first time. Are you trying t convince Jews we started the 1948 war? Sorry, not going to happen. In every war with Israel Arabs were lining up in the streets chanting “death To Israel” before their armies were summarily slaughtered all the way back to their homes, if they made it. Arab armies so full of bravado and equipment and “brave fighting arabs”, turned to yellow backed deserters the minute they came under fire. It is amazing that you have an entirely different perspective on these wars than what is written in western history. Then again it is not so surprising if you were schooled in an Islamic school, Islam sees history in a distorted vision so that adherents can feel better about themselves. Isragirl, you seem very intelligent but if my dog were to bite me I would just shoot him or her. You see if a dog bites their benefactor they will be completely untractable around any other humans or pets. There is something horribly wrong inside their brains and it would not be wise to test them around children or smaller animals. It could be their breeding or the way they were raised but dogs that bite their masters can never be trusted. Much the same way the Arabs who occupy Israeli territory can never be trusted. Jews should never be forces to have habitual murderers living near them. That is an untenable situation.

hmm, if you new anything about history you would know the arabs began the conflict by attacking the reborn Jewish state from the start. If the arabs would have accepted the Jewish state from the beginning maybe there would have been a "palestineean" state now. You seem to have all the facts muddled up in favour of your palestinan brothers.

I'm glad you've watched the documentary, but you are spinning the tale to suit the audience here (deliberately?). President Johnson has always been a traitor to the nation.
24.  to 11 you right "two wrongs don't make it right"
faithfreedom   (03.19.07)
on the it is not Islamic part, I have to disagree with you. as Muhammad ordered to kill captured men and slave their women and children.
25. # 23 Edwin
Isragirl ,   Qiryat Yam, Israel   (03.19.07)
so your Pres Johnson was a traitor to what nation - a white supreme nation? Aryan, maybe?
26. Yes Isragirl, attack..
Gene ,   Raleigh, USA   (03.19.07)
Yet, you've only succeeded in prompting others to view the documentary.

Edwin ,   Canada   (03.19.07)
Gene, silly me! Your right, President Johnson was conspiring with the Israelis against his own electorate in keeping with your charge he had “always been a traitor to the nation”. Or do you think their may be another explanation? How about the thought that the Americans were caught spying on the Israelis and passing sensitive information to the Egyptians? That scenario would make much more sense, and would explain why your president was anxious for a cover up. That would not make him a traitor; however, it would reveal his being in the same category as Henry Alfred Kissinger!
28. Gene - we're not afraid of the truth
Isragirl ,   Qiryat Yam, Israel   (03.20.07)
and it's not always what it seems....
