The utter gall of the Sternthal to even begin to imply that Palestinians do not have the right to build on their own land simply beggars belief. It's rather like a paid political campaigner in Burkino Faso telling Lithuanians not to build housing for their population. The whole thrust of Sternthal's immoral article and possibly the thrust of Sternthal's life seems to be "starve the Palestinians out" and kow-tow to the most right wing jerks. Sternthal attempts, pathetically to divert the argument to "the vast Muslim theft of Christian land... in Jerusalem neighborhoods". Well, shake the other one, it has bells on it. To reiterate, Sternthal;s gall is astonishing and it ill-behoves CAMERA (Committee for Abuse Manipulation of Facts) to be seen as an extenstion of the Israeli states expropriation and oppression institutions.

the Peace Now members like those in Machsom Watch are sad lonely people with no special abilities or knowledge. They gain the attention they need by acting against their county which would attract attention in every country but perhaps not be so easily tolerated. The press give them the attention they need (like air) and their actions get stronger and stronger. The press needs to ignore these klumniks (nothings) and they will quickly disappear. Nobody can own any land unless there is a sovereign in that land to recognize ownership. Currently, under international law (the United Nations), there is no sovereign in the West Band and Gaza because the Palestinians have not accepted the responsibility that comes with having their own state. When you say, "It's their land, it's their country," you are circumventing and ignoring law, our societal guideline for normative behavior. For years far too many people have been spoon- fed lies by Peace Now, the Arabs and Rostums of this world, without challenge. By now those lies have become an article of faith. It is very important to challenge those lies and set the record straight in every instance. For far too long those brazen liars have been getting away with most outrageous claims without any challenge, resulting in Israel’s loss of support in the international arena.
