1. Only In Israel
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (03.21.07)
It would behoove everyone involved in this argument to begin to get out of their heads that there are "their" rabbis and "our" rabbis. There are only rabbis. Recently, too much has been attached to one rabbi or another's political, ideological or ethnic affiliation and identity. This is a terrible development. The only thing we must look at is the man's scholarship and integrity. Dividing rabbis in accordance with any other criteria goes against the spirit, if not the letter, of the Halacha.
2. NOT FOR LONG: THERE IS HOPE!
HaDaR ,   Israel   (03.21.07)
THERE IS A CONCRETE TIQWAH THAT THE OBSERVANT JEWS WILL START GOING BACK TO TORAH THE WAY IT WAS TAUGHT AND OBSERVED IN ERETS ISRAEL, BEFORE THE DISTORTIONS OF PRACTICE AND MENTALITY BROUGHT BY THE EXILE, THE DIASPORA, THE GALUTH which caused both the reform and the black clad crowd. ONE OF THE MAIN HOPES CAN BE FOUND AT: http://www.machonshilo.org/
3. What is with all Jews being represented by black hat?
(03.21.07)
Ashkenazi are the minority in Israel, Black Hat nowhere symbolizes all Jews not even all religious Haredi Jews.
4. Those who don't think Asher Cohen is a mamzer...
Ilan ,   Ariel   (03.22.07)
should prove otherwise. Solid logical argument according to Prof. Cohen.
