mordechai ,   jerusalem   (03.25.07)
We all have prejudices; They are our personal assesment of reality. I cringe when women use crude language. The same words spoken by men don't have the same affect. If woman I work with react to this by modifying their speech in my presance, are either of us doing something wrong?
2. reigious

Where was the religious person in the elevator?
3. wondering

Can one example lead to a general conclusion ? The relationship between religious and secular people here in Israel is much more ambivalent .
4. Passing Clouds
Albert ,   UK   (03.26.07)
Hi, In broader society trerms it isn't about you and her. It is about the observing crowd also in the elevator. From others you each had your models of how to behave in an elevator, both your models are now changed a little. But the crowd that is new to it now have their model of what works well and what does not work at all. As now do I and the rest of the crowd that happen to stop by and read your article. Well done, and many thanks!
