31. Islamofascism
Persia ,   US/Iran   (03.29.07)
Capturing UK soldiers is not for the show off to the west. This is just a scare tactic aiming at Iranian people. Mullahs want to make sure that Iranians will never dare to defy them. Today, Iran is under the occupation of the most savage form of the Islamofascism. These are the descendants of the same Islamic butchers who occupied and burned Persia 1400 years ago with the sword of Islam and brought darkness to our great civilization.
32. True or False?

39. I think Iran should work hard to avoid provocing the west
Palestinian   (03.29.07)
which is already provoked. It is not good for Iran particulary that people like G. W. Bush are waiting any opportunity to bring this country down. Peace on Iran!
40. Exposing Hypocritical Hypocrites
john ,   nz   (03.29.07)
Anything said by person / persons under duress is null and void, therefore should not be taken as correct.
41. The pathetic regime of Iran is an iranian regime.
AR ,   USA   (03.29.07)
Not a puppet regime set up by britain or america. Personally i would rather be ruiled bye a domestic tyrant rather than a foreign imposed tyrant like the shah. So many people from the "west" which is just a sneaky way of saying (white christians) think that Iran or iranians are some sort of corrupt murderous bunch. Yes iran supports Hezbollah and Hamas but westerners never admit that these groups are also supported by a majority of the people in their countries. With hamas its like 90% of palestinians. People complain about iranian state sponsored terrorism yet they wont even look toward irans neigbhor to see the state sponsored terrorism of America and Britain. What is really pathetic is that america a country that hasnt been to war with its neighbors in hundreds of years has been involved in a war its entire history. That is sad. The united states supports regimes that are dispised by the people who live their at least Iran supports regimes that are supported and who actually do things for their people.
42. Its down to Ahmadinejad. AMG
Cy ,   Reading, Berks   (03.29.07)
Guess who sanctioned this PR disaster for Iran? That crazed buffoon Ahmadinejad is a walking disaster for Iran. Is it any wonder that Iranians apart from his RG buddies are so weary and afraid of what that bull in a china shop might do next? And do you notice - no word from him, none of his swagger, his audacity, his bluster, his arrogance, his macho, his wagging fingers because he knows he has failed Iran playing fast and loose with Iranian foreign policy and Irans credibility in the world. Because right now NOBODY trusts Iran. Irans word is worth NOTHING. The so called Government cant hold a candle to the majority of Iranians who want to secure a respected place amongst the family of nations. And remember this is the SECOND debacle of his doing. The first was a little debacle called Nasrallah and Lebanon. After this all blows over Iranians everywhere will be working hard to consign that idiot to the dustbin of history. Ahmadinejad MUST GO. MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (03.29.07)
Dont be under a misapprehension. The revised version had nothing to do with giving one version and than the other.Nevertheless,if it makes you happy to interprete that way,no harm at all,Scott.
45. #44 YOU'RE THE BEST MAHMOOD!
Scott   (03.29.07)
( only you could put it that way...most of us know better ) This incident is really, really good for "our side" . This incident illustrates the evil that Iran represents and will definitely wake up a few idiots that might be giving aMadJihad and co. the benefit of the doubt. Now no longer or unlikely.
46. Ahmadinejad is disguising his weakness inside Iran
Ibrahim ,   S. Arabia   (03.29.07)
The little guy who is currently running Iran has a lot of big problems at home: He has not delivered on his campaign promises, and is quite unpopular. All he's doing is trying to divert attention from the troubles he is in, with macho-talk about the nuclear program, and the new "show of strength" : The Iranian NAVY ships are actually able to capture rubber dinghies with some sailors in them. Heroic (!) Meanwhile, he makes it impossible for even the russians to support him, so his silly antics are actually a good thing-they just reduce the standing of Tehran even further. Another probable reason for Ahmadinejad's constant posturing is that he's suffering from the "very short man's syndrome". Simple compensation. I would choose very tall men to negotiate with him in every opportunity.
