1. Olmart & party QUIT. They are too dumb to quit.
Ely Greenhut ,   Tzfat Israel   (04.04.07)
2. Hag Sameah To The Winograd Commission.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (04.04.07)
So now we have expert opinion of what everyone knows anyway. The key word is "accountability" - something we are sorely lacking at every level of gov't. No one is ever responsible; the culture of 'covering your ass" is alive & well - and help your friends cover up as well. But nothing could disguise the sheer incompetence & bungling of our dynamic trio - Olmert, Peretz, & Livni. The Winograd inquiry had to come to these conclusions or they would be the laughing stock of the whole country. But will Olmert resign, taking Peretz & Livni with him? I fear that they are super-glued to their chairs. Wait for the "spin" to start - which actually it did already with Olmert's interviews in every newspaper. Livni for sure will take a strategy of "laying low" since her interest is "the less said the better" - she benefits most just by keeping out of the news.
3. OF COURSE THEY SHOULD RESIGN
Gary A. MD ,   Boston USA   (04.04.07)
THEY ARE A BUNCH OF IDIOTS
4. arrogance of power
Marcel ,   Florida   (04.04.07)
Olmert is not too dumb to quit but he is too arrogant . An epedimic of arrogance is upon us. The elite assume they are above everyone else and assume to have carta blanche power of Kings. Ariel Sharon suffered from this arrogance as does president Bush. Sharon is no longer an arrogant bulldozer who does as he desires. Olmert follows in his footsteps. One sure outcome is they will all learn the lesson of Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar who ate grass with the animals for 7 years until he understood that it was God who rules over the Kingdoms of men. Some will learn too late.

12. Diplomatic Concerns
Stuart Bliwas ,   USA   (04.04.07)
If the incompetent handling of the war were due to diplomatic cincerns then those officials responcible for the diplomacy should resign. In diplomacy you can agree to go along or refuse. Begin and Shamir showed how to refuse and still extract the maximum from your position. Obviously the current crop of officials have learnrd nothing from the history of the past.

They can be pardoned in the future or communicate with the outside. All parties in this regime should be declared enemy organizations and banned from politics forever. All the party management should be jailed for life.
