1. A great loss
Libertarian ,   Jerusalem   (04.08.07)
A great loss for those that want to see Israel as a democratic, pluralistic and open society.

4. Oh Bishara
Guy ,   Israel   (04.08.07)
Could you possibly arrange for Peretz to go with you. Both of you are traitors, both of you are a disgrace to this Parliament, both of you have big bushy moustaches. I hope you leave your passport at police control when you leave, you were ashamed of it just as we were ashamed of you. We gave you a warm home and all you could do was spit in our faces.
5. ARAB MK Bishara Called SEVERAL TIMES for INTIFADA
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (04.08.07)
against Israel's Jewish innocents. The ugly, racist, rabid Jew-hate of ethnically cleansing 10,000 Gaza and north Samaria Jews violated Article 80 of the United Nations Charter, broke Israel's Basic Human Rights Law and Clause 9 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Patriotic Jews, including children, are brutally beaten and jailed. Jewish taxpayers who pay Arab MK Bishara's salary are FORCED to FINANCE TREASON! Arab Israeli MKs who are openly genocidal to Jews and support the violent overthrow of Israel are members of Israel's government! No other nation on earth allows such treason. Will Jews revolt against their forced financing of treason and Arab MK hate incitement to a second holocaust of Jews? From article on the violent Arab Muslim Israeli riots in 2000 'Let's investigate everything' by Yaron London, 10/2/05 http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3150205,00.html The report offers a history of Arab demonstrations and protests that over time have become evermore extreme. The report also mentions several individuals that contributed, through words and through silence, to the progression from legitimate protest into a violent, destructive riot. Leaders of the Islamic Movement, wrote the Or Commission, fanned the flames by accusing Israel of planning to destroy the Islamic holy sites on the Temple Mount, and openly sympathizing with Hizbullah and al-Qaeda. MK Azmi Bishara (National Democratic Assembly) has said the Shiite militia should be a role model for the struggle with Israel, and has called several times for an intifada against Israel. Arab-Israeli leaders should be investigated The Or Commission- including one Arab justice and another member considered an important expert in Arab culture - rejected Bishara's evasive comments, and had this to say about the part Israeli Arab leaders played in the October, 2000 riots: Individuals such as the leaders of the Supreme Israeli Arab Monitoring Committee, the Islamic Movement, and Knesset Members Tibi, Bishara, Dehamshe and Zahalka were full partners to the outbreak of riots in October, 2000, and therefore also bear responsibility for the deaths of 13 of their brethren." The following is part of an article from jerusalempost.com, Sept. 25 2005 'Column One: Israel's disengaged establishment' by Caroline Glick: "...recall what happened five years ago. Following months of increased violence and extremism in the Arab-Israeli sector incited directly by the Palestinian Authority, the Israeli Islamic Movement and the Arab members of Knesset, violent riots seized the Arab sector of Israel in October 2000. During the week of riots, Arab Israelis threw rocks and Molotov cocktails at Israeli civilian cars throughout the country. Israeli motorists were dragged out of their cars on Highway 65 along Wadi Ara and beaten. An Israeli motorist was murdered when Arabs from Jasser a-Zarka threw a rock at his windshield as he drove down the coastal highway..."
6. What hypocrisy and double standards
Marlene N. ,   New York City   (04.08.07)
“The Knesset Member Immunity Law, which allows Knesset member to leave the country unrestrictedly, does not allow them to enter enemy states without permission,” it pointed out. But Israel has no problem building up its illegal settlements in what it calls enemy territory that it occupies and permitting its Jewish citizens to illegally reside there. How about members of its Knesset like Avigdor Lieberman. He's not even visiting. He resides in an illegal settlement that is beyond Israel's so-called green line.
7. Can we induce his collegues to join him?
mike ,   Jerusalem   (04.08.07)
OPerhaps we can offer some incentive for all the other fifth columnists in the knesset to join him! Ahmad Zibi can be the next in line, this man (if you can call him that) has sat in the knesset as a spy for the PA for years! We can offer him to leave or to share in Sadaam's fate! If I were authorized by the Gvt. to be the executioner who had to hang him I would put a trampoline under the gallows for the first 5 tries and then remove it!
8. Bishara to resign
Jeremy ,   Hula Valley Kibbutz   (04.08.07)
If this report is true, then it is great news for to holiday. One less traitor in the Knessit. If he has left the country for good then maybe he really was a spy and 5 column for the Syrians, and if that is the case I hope the Mossad captures him and brings him back for trail.
9. great loss for those who wish jews tossed in the sea
aaron ,   ra'anana   (04.08.07)
enjoy jordan, buddy
10. Too good to be true
Moshe   (04.08.07)
11. #1 - I like your humor - he was hopefully deported !
redkmike ,   tel aviv and london   (04.08.07)
We both, and others know that no other democracy in the world would have allowed MPs (MK's) to visit enemy States during times of war .. A law to stop this was passed and Arab MPs ignored it and were not punished whereas Israel Jews would have been imprisoned. Better that they leave or are deported rather than Israel spending a fortune on supporting them. Keep up the good work ! Mike
12. i hope that there will a lot more leaving
ami ,   israel   (04.08.07)
13. Good ridance to you, may Ahmadinejad use your advices

14. CHAMPAGNA !
(04.08.07)
15. To 1
Shai ,   Israel   (04.08.07)
Not really. When you provide an open and pluralistic society, part of your obligation is to defend the values its institutions uphold, one of which is the law. When you have people who openly break the law, especially when they are legislators of law, you undermine the law. Therefore, if anything, enforcing this law (as well as enforcement of the law against all the other MK's who have been called to task for the excesses) is PROOF of a democratic, pluralistic and open society. A pluralistic society is not one where only those with obnoxious views have rights, Libertarian. All of us have rights that should be enforced, and I demand that if I cannot visit Lebanon, then neither can Azmi Bishara.
16. Let's get rid of all the Hamets in Jordan

17. All laws are political. Rule of law. Learn it, respect it.
Shuki   (04.08.07)
18. As long as you are rubber banding, Marelene...
Shai ,   Israel   (04.08.07)
How about the PA upholding the law and stopping all the murders of our citizens? Is that not also illegal? Do we have to have dozens of UN handwringing exercises for our citizens' lives to be worth a prutah? Apparently so, for you. What you ALWAYS conveniently ignore is that international law evolves. It was not always illegal to win land in war, especially when it was YOU who won after THEY attacked. Further, the "illegal" nature of moving citizens into disputed lands (disputed because it was not an occupied country, but rather land that was likely to become an Arab state had the Arabs accepted a Jewish state in the rest of the Land) had to be finessed by the UN. Based on precedent until then in International Law, the Israelis had good reason to feel that they one law was being imposed for them, and another for everybody else including the Arabs. It shouldn't go unnoticed, for example, that Jordan annexed the West Bank to Jordan and compared to the outrage engendered in Israel not even annexing it, but living on lands that nobody held title to, nobody made a peep. So, I won't join you in your moral outrage here, Marlene. I was once willing to grant that a moral case, if not any other, could be made for a Palestinian state, but the belligerance of your besainted Palestinians has made that a dead letter.

25. The law of logical consequences!
Yonatan Koss ,   Chiloquin,   (04.08.07)
Every child learns this law, well not arab children squatting on Israeli land. That is not the only exception, so they must be taught that the world is not run by made up arab laws of convenience. It is too bad the liberal left is full of recalcitrant grown children who stomp their feet and cry loudly when they can’t get their way either. It seems time for a good willow branch directed at the collective bottoms of the arabs and left wing fifth column in Israel.
26. ARAB MK: 'I ADVISED PA to KIDNAP SOLDIER'
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (04.08.07)
Treason and maliciously endangering IDF soldiers' lives by Arab MKs is allowed in Israel whilst patriotic Jews are punished and jailed and regarded as ENEMIES OF THE STATE. It is urgent that demonstrations are held outside the Knesset and outside Israeli consulates world-wide to protest that Arab MKs are allowed to commit treason - collude with the enemy - repeatedly call for intifada against Israel - and encourage global jihadist religious supremacists to kidnap IDF soldiers. And to protest the persecution and politically-motivated, unjust jailing of Jewish patriots. israelnationalnews.com Arab MK: 'I Advised PA to Kidnap Soldier' Jul 09, '06 / 13 Tammuz 5766 by Hillel Fendel Knesset Member Wasal Taha, corresponding publicly with internet surfers on the Arabic-language IslamOnline site, said he repeatedly advised PA terrorists to battle and kidnap Israeli soldiers. According to a report in Maariv newspaper on Sunday, Taha told surfers on Thursday that he repeatedly advised the PA Arabs to stop shooting and targeting civilians, and to concentrate on IDF targets... http://www.israelnn.com/news.php3?id=106857
