We both, and others know that no other democracy in the world would have allowed MPs (MK's) to visit enemy States during times of war .. Not really. When you provide an open and pluralistic society, part of your obligation is to defend the values its institutions uphold, one of which is the law. When you have people who openly break the law, especially when they are legislators of law, you undermine the law. Therefore, if anything, enforcing this law (as well as enforcement of the law against all the other MK's who have been called to task for the excesses) is PROOF of a democratic, pluralistic and open society. A pluralistic society is not one where only those with obnoxious views have rights, Libertarian. All of us have rights that should be enforced, and I demand that if I cannot visit Lebanon, then neither can Azmi Bishara.

How about the PA upholding the law and stopping all the murders of our citizens? Is that not also illegal?
