For many years he tried to bridge the gap between the Israelis and the Palestinians and make each side understand the other better.
It's a shame he is leaving.

A "moderate", he has been quoted as saying HAMAS(!!!) shouldn't make concessions... First, Pappe leaving now Bishara? If I was christian I would think Christmas had come early. I hope he moves to Jordan and sees the results of criticising the government there.
