Again and again! Golan is not a part of Israel because it has been attacked by Syria in 1948, 1967 and 1973. Golan is not a part of Israel because it has been conquered in 1967. The Golan Heights are Israeli because of a much stronger and LEGAL reason. The Golan Heights were an integral part of Mandatory Palestine as decided by the resolutions of the League of Nations voted the 24th of July 1922. Article 5 of said resolutions stipulates and I quote: "The Mandatory shall be responsible for seeing that no Palestine territory shall be ceded or leased to, or in any way placed under the control of, the Government of any foreign Power." Nevertheless, Britain, the Mandatory of Palestine, in total breach of article 5, ceded in 1923, the Golan Heights to France, the Mandatory of Syria. If not this perfidious act committed by Britain, even in the UN partition plan of 1947, there would have been no way round, but to incorporate the Golan Heights to the territory intended to become the Jewish State.May I suggest that the advisors of Mr. Olmert, Mrs Livni and Co put the above text under their noses?

Golan was part of Palestine until 1922. The British illegally decided to give it to France who gave it to Syria. The Rothshilds gave money before 1922 to purchase land there.
