1. Hahahaha
Kareem ,   Egypt   (04.11.07)
Shows the real relationship between America (the father) and "Israel" (the child). Israel is waiting for Washington's "nod" in order to sell the Arrow anti-missile system. U still owe a lot to the states though, you'll be paying to the day u die.
2. i hear you brother kareem, i hear you
rashid ,   palistinian   (04.11.07)
so good to see a brother make such a good point on this zionist website and the zioinist with all their education and professors can not answer you. israil will always owe amrica believe me, not like us egyptian never take a penny or in our case a piastre from the us or saudia or the eu or the whole world egypt and falastin have the strongest economy in the world if they where not accupied by the zionists of course i am off to smoke my nargila, see you on the israili dunes soon my brother, believe me
3. #1 What about Egypt?
Aharon   (04.11.07)
Egypt is America's political whore - its connection to the Arab world. Egypt owes America just as much as Israel does.
4. Kareem - Egypt over 2 billion a year in US aid
R Saus   (04.11.07)
Over 50 billion dollars in cash aid since 1975... I didn't see the world's 1st deployed anti missile defense system developed in Cairo despite the 1.3 billion dollars a year egypt has received in military aid since 1979. 1st become a foremost leader worldwide in technology & economic output then we can sit down and laugh together, until then - get to work.
5. Lol @ Kareem
Don juan ,   Spain   (04.11.07)
you are so right Kareem :) The thing here only is as (if) you can read that the US paid millions of dollars for the development... Isn't it logicaly right to discuss with your "partner" or as you say father to whom you will sell this very high quality defense rocket? I have not heard of any Egyptian development lately... or well never accept for the bird flue thats a great development...
6. I agree with US - Arrow to Turkey bad idea
Raymond from DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (04.11.07)
Israel obviously wants to strengthen its relationship with Turkey. The latter however is a Muslim nation moving in an increasingly Islamist direction. While the military will see to it that the country remains nominally "secular", the possibility that someone with contrary sentiment will pass on sensitive technology to Israel's enemies remains. Moreover, with an increasingly confident and assertive Iran on its border, a shift in Turkey's political orientation "eastward" could change the game radically.
7. #1 and #2
Dbleiberg ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.11.07)
Let me remind you all that without Western tourism/ American aid (close to 2 billion dollars) Egypt wouldn't be anywhere. The Palestinians export most of their goods to Israel and pre-Intifada, when hundreds of thousands of pallys used to work in Israel, the PA economy was 10-fold as strong as it is today. Without our help, Egypt and PA would just be sand and dunes...
8. ARROW TO A MUSLIM COUNTRY ? ! NEVER ! ISRAEL IS INSANE
(04.11.07)
9. #1,#2 - Phhh Egypt get's 1.7 billion a year
Dan ,   Haifa   (04.11.07)
http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3255291,00.html Your country gets 1.7 billion AKA milliard a year from the USA ! The differace is how much you give back - the answer=none. Israel developes most of the hi-tech the US army uses. All the US tanks will soon have the Trophy defence system, they have our D9 armor, the planes ? The best F-35 is full of our hi-tech, the Arrow anti balistic missile, the Python-5 and more. Egypt just sucks money from the american tax payers while Israel only uses this money for development for Israel & the US.
10. Why not ?
(04.11.07)
Israel sold the American technology to China without even asking the USA .
11. Dear Kareem
Omri ,   Israel   (04.11.07)
I agree with you on the fact that Israel (along with a lot of arab states, believe me) owes its very existance to the US. In this case, however, it is only logical to ask for the US permission since the "Arrow" missile is an Israeli-American project. It was developed in Israel, true, but the Americans were the ones who funded it. Thus, I see every reason they should be involved in such an important deal. About your last sentence, why do you want me dead? What wrong have I ever done to you? Why all this hatred? Why can you not accept Israel as it is and work with it, instead of fighting it? I beg you to try and see Israel in a different way. Do not let the lies of the arab media blind you. We are fated to live here, together, as brothers. Why can you not see that maybe, if we cooperate, we can end this pointless conflict and make the middle east a better place to live? We both just want to live our lives. Let us try and stop the hatred, for the futures of our families and people. Peace, brothers.

1.7 Billions for 76 million people and Israe gets 3 Billions for 6 Millions people .... what a comparison ..... Egypt gets this money without any presure over the Ameican governments but Israel blackmailing the Ameicans through the zionist loby in America ... whenever Egypt is a better friend for the Americans in the middle east than Israel ... at least Egypt helping the Americans to repare the damages Israel always makes in the middle east ... Egypt doesn't cost the Ameicans all of this money which America investing for it's national security because of the blind support for Israel .... Egypt never pushed the Americans into a war for it's interest like Israel did and still doing .... Egypt didn't cause the hate against the americans around the world like Israel did ...... Egypt doesn't run and cry to the american for each small fart and cry and ask for help and money .... Israel is a disaster for the American lifes and tax payers .
13. Kareem, are you really Egyptian or Martian ? LOL (End)
dd   (04.11.07)
14. #10 No American tech was sold to china
Dan ,   Haifa   (04.11.07)
The phalcon is the Israeli best AWACS - Airborne Warning and Control System. No american hi tech is involved nor any american money. It's built with the my money, my taxes and private investers. America said no not because it had american know how, but because they were afraid it will be used against them in Taiwan and because it's better than what the Americans have, well...
15. us hindering sale bec
george ,   usa   (04.11.07)
arms sales is big business for usa. remember the striker armored vehicle? US army would rather develop its own anti-RPG & wait until 2010 than buy from Israel. HMMM. big business, big money.
16. incorrect
Harinder Mishra ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.12.07)
India has bought Arrow anti-missile system from Israel! What nonsense. I guess you are confusing between Phalcon airborne reconnaissance system and Arrow anti-missile system.
