2. Rewarding Failure
Marcel ,   Florida   (04.14.07)
Israel wil most likely continue to reward the Palestinian terrorist enterprise as this is the agenda of U.S. emperor in birthing his Jew free Palestrinian State. PM. Olmert hgas been a useful idiot and loyal stooge of this plan and so terrorist head Abbas will probally be rewarded for his bad behaviour.
3. NOTHING WITHOUT SHALIT RELEASE.

anything. Abbas wants to block Israeli access to instigators, planners and perpetrators of terror attacks.
5. IT'S GETTING BORING!!!
al mann ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.14.07)
The attempts at the disollution of the land, country, and people have become an intrinsic part of the activities of Islam as well as Christianity throughout the millenia of history. They have not succeeded and refuse to recognize the fact that they are unable to accomplish this. Under the cover of 'peace' they attempt to seduce and manipulate situations in order to finally make us disappear. Our weak government should have learned from history but their belief in our past is weak too. When our past is denied the nations of the world come upon us and attempt to restore to us our identity. As long as we fail to restore identity they will seek our destruction. As long as we are in denial of our forefathers and the constitution they were given at Sinai, we shall continue to contend with those events which disturb our peace of mind and security. People of Israel "WAKE UP!!!"
6. YNET - STOP SPREADING LIE
Karen- USA/Australia   (04.14.07)
WEST BANK - NO. JUDEA & SUMARIA -YES. Bethlehem a Palestinian city - would be a big surprise to King David & Jesus. They both thought they were born in Israel/Judea.
7. The Israeli Govt. plan: Retreat into the Sea (literally)
Tracy W   (04.14.07)
This demand by Abbas reflects secret talks in which this govt. has ALREADY AGREED to hand over Judea and Samaria, town after town. Furthermore, the sense of defeat that guides these losers is such, that Peres is already planning a future in which Jews will have been pushed INTO THE SEA. At a conference entitled "The Sea as an Economic Resource," Shimon Peres says Israel should stop investing in Judea and Samaria and build artificial islands in the Mediterranean instead. In his remarks, Vice Premier Shimon Peres said, "Israel has invested some 60 billion shekels in the territories. Instead of this, we must invest in the sea, and stretch our western border in that direction by building artificial islands." "It was Peres who, as Minister of Defense in the mid-1970's, approved the establishment of the first Jewish communities, Kedumim and Elkanah, in Samaria. He has since become very anti-settlement." 8. occupation creates anarchy: Palestine, Iraq,Somalia examples
den ,   usa   (04.14.07)
Once Jewish occupation in Palestine is defeated and dismantled, Palestine can become a normal, functioning country.
9. 5 Al mann I will disagree with you. There is a great
freedom ,   canada   (04.14.07)
difference in Christianity versus Catholicism versus Islam. Im really upset when people like yourself group the believers of christianity in with catholicism. Personally, as a christian there is only one true ally with God in the world and that is with all the jews of the world. I do not agree with any land being given back to the Palestianians. Its not the way of christianity.
10. Palestinians to request control over West Bank cities
(04.14.07)
What a revolutionary idea!!!
11. #8 occupation = anarchy????
Andrew ,   San Francisco, US   (04.14.07)
Yeah, look at Gaza. Anarchy surged and it became even more violent immediately after occupation ended. Just admit it - Palestinians make money off anarchy. They get paid by Iran, Lebanon, Sauid Arabia and Syria. Anarchy means hiring more 'security' employees. Peace means actually working and doing something constructive. Even Hamas is too scared to move against th egangs.
12. #6 Karen

There is no evidence to prove that your King David ever existed, and very little to show that Jesus ever lived.

16. #11, "#8", and of course ~=#3
Takan ,   Eilat   (04.15.07)
#11 you are completely right about the Gaza example. But you have to agree with #8 that all these talks of "occupation" should cease. The so called "occupied territories"have been taken at war from Egypt and Jordan. We made peace with those countries and they didn't ask for these territories in return (they asked for Sinai and other parts). Therefore these territories are Israeli lands and we should not expect recognition about these facts from the "Palestinians", nor from the U.N. or any other world body. Moreover, there never was a Palestine as presented to the world today. The old Palestine has become Israel since 1948 and all Palestinians (Jews, Arabs and Christians) became Israelis. That is a historical fact that is being negated by these Arabs from past wars stuck at our borders. They should decide if they want to be Israelis. If they believe they are being occupied, it's only a short way back to who was ruling them before the wars (This goes for the Arabs in the West Bank, Gaza and even in the north Golan Heights). And even without all this, TERRY is the one with the best answer. WE SHOULD NOT TALK TO THEM UNTILL THEY RELEASED GILAD. Israel, come on, where is your pride. Are Israelis becoming Fryerim???
17. to 5 & 9= answer
(04.15.07)
I have read the brit hadashah and there is something I will agree with NB 9= the xtian wants "erezt to be" because they are expecting their Leader to come= to the price of 2/3 of our people (it is written in your books) of course you will not be there are you are the cream of the cream just us will be killed eh!!! so much for your love towards the jews!!!! IF OF THE TRUTH WE ARE SONS OF AVRA'HAM YSAAC, YAACOV; IF HACHEM TRUELY MADE A COVENENT WITH OUR FORFATHERS, IS IT NOT TIME FOR US ALL TO COME OUT OF 2000YRS OF XTIANS YOKE AND BE!!!! with that attitude, we'll get IT ALL, eventually even if it took 200 years, the chinese got hong kong after 150 years and they'll wait a thousand years for taiwan...u should be kissing our miserable leaders into a deal that favors u now cause who knows what the balance of powers will be in 100 years... the only constant in history is CHANGE.....
19. Dr. Fawzi Barhoum Says Jerusalem & Refugees Not Discussed
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville, USA   (04.15.07)
What an observant man he is and he is quite right. There is nothing to discuss and until he and the Palestinians wake up and comprehend that these topics are not open to discussion, the Palestinians will continue to wallow in their own self pity.
20. Palestinians To Request Control Over West Bank Cities
billfoonman@yahoo.co ,   Jacksonville, USA   (04.15.07)
Let them request. The Palestinians can't even control what they eat for breakfast. Giving them control of anything is a recipe for disaster.
21. #8
bk   (04.15.07)
Israel is a normal, functioning, and thriving country. It's the palestinian extremest that are messing everything up. Question: What palestinian product have YOU seen on the world market lately?
22. #6, How about the old city of Jerusalem? Idiot.

24. #21:If Palestine gets $10 billion of US taxpayers money/year
den ,   US   (04.15.07)
and is not under Jewish occupation, I and you would see alot of Palestinian products in the market. But I also don't see products in the market from many other countries, are those countries going to be occupied by Israel too?
25. 5 and 9
Roch ,   Albuquerque NM, USA   (04.15.07)
Your comments about Christianity are not with out some truth. But as a Christian who believes in the Jewish state as promised by God I can say that Olmert has not right to give over land that God has given to the Jews. Once you move in the opposite direction of the promises of God no good can come of it. And please Israel know that there are some Christians who love you and wish to see God's promises fullfilled. #9 was right in that true Christians seek only that Israel is blessed. That should help you know the differences between a true Christian and a false one. Don't give up anymore!!!!!!!!!! You are promised so much more land.
26. #12 & 22
Karen- USA/Australia   (04.15.07)
To #12 - So if there's little to prove that Jesus lived why is he considered a prophet by Moslems? To #22 - Without the insults make your point. I used one example of a city (Bethlehem) the Palis claim was a Palestinian city.
27. 18, that's what you said in 48, 56,67, 73
Ari   (04.15.07)
And every time you have lost more and more. You could have accepted partition in 47 and had a state in 48 but you didnt, you could have had a state many times after that, and you could have had a state from Oslo. In the end your love for terrorism and your hatred for Israel overpowers your own desire for statehood. So in the end you'll end up with nothing. just like after 48, 56, 67, 73, the first intifada, Oslo, and then the Oslo War. You always end up losing more and more. You people will never learn.
28. They dont even deserve a single millimeter.

29. West Bank is not Jewish land?
deborah ,   Wichita USA   (04.15.07)
No, Joel. It's not.
30. To Deborah #29
Smooth   (04.28.07)
Deborah, if you're going to post an answer, at least give the correct explanation. The West Bank is considered landlocked territory not officially recognized as part of any country. Israel calls the land "disputed." The United Nations claims the West Bank is "occupied" by Israel, which maintains overall control of most of the area while the Palestinian Authority has jurisdiction in about 40 percent. The Palestinians claim a population of roughly 2.4 million, but new demographic studies show the numbers are likely inflated. The actual Palestinian population could be up to 1 million less. The territory remained under Jordanian rule from 1948 until Israel captured the West Bank in 1967 after Jordan's King Hussein ignored Israeli pleas for his country to stay out of the Six Day War. Most countries rejected Jordan's initial claim on the area, which it formally renounced in 1988. The West Bank borders most of Israel's major cities, including Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Military strategists have long estimated Israel must at a minimum maintain the West Bank to defend its borders from any ground invasion. Yet, in essence, Joel #1 is correct, Deborah. Many villages in the West Bank, which Israelis commonly refer to as the "biblical heartland," are mentioned throughout the Torah. The Book of Genesis says Abraham entered Israel at Shechem (Nablus) and received God's promise of land for his offspring. He was later buried in Hebron. The nearby town of Beit El, anciently called Bethel meaning "house of God," is where Scripture says the patriarch Jacob slept on a stone pillow and dreamed of angels ascending and descending a stairway to heaven. In that dream, God spoke directly to Jacob and reaffirmed the promise of territory. And in Exodus, the holy tabernacle rested in Shilo, believed to be the first area the ancient Israelites settled after fleeing Egypt. So, the facts are that when the West Bank and Gaza were "occupied" by Egypt and Jordan, from 1947 thru 1967, the palestinian leadership had no complaint about any "alien occupation " and expressed no desire for self-determination. There was no movement toward a palestinian state when Gaza was under the control of Egypt and the West Bank under Jordan. Jordan didn't give up its territorial claims until 1988 by which time, of course, it had no control over the area. Fatah was founded in 1964 with Arafat; unless causality has no meaning, the resistance to Israel was born with no reference to 1967 but, rather, with Israel's birth in 1948 and, indeed, with the arrival of Jews in the land in the 19th century. The point of all of this is that it is outrageous in the extreme that the world would accept a scheme that would permit Arabs to have an ethnically cleansed geographical region where no Jews can live.
