The only thing it had going for it was a state to for the jewish survivors of the holocaust and future generations but it dosnt even support those very people whome the state was formed to protect. What do you have to say for your country? BTW #2 your military and defenses are paid for by US tax payers. My G-d, what a shame.....I didn't see the documentary unfortunately, but my co-workers told me about it....I'm originally from the Netherlands and I know that even the Dutch children from Holocoust survivers receive money so they can see therapists or need special medicine here in Israel...not only did the parents suffer terrible during the Shoa, but also their children who were born after the war, suffered....we have for our Dutch citizen who live in Israel, a very good organisation, with qualified therapists who also speak Hebrew and Dutch....I have to say though that the money they receive from the Netherlands is maybe not a lot but at least can cover the bill for medicine...

...for decades in Israel. He worked for Bank Leumi and retired in the 80s. He moved to Frankfurt exactly because of the health and housing package provided by the German government, after having a stroke who physically crippled him and finding out that he no longer had the means to go on living in Israel. He did not complained about the treatment received from Israeli authorities, but you could see in his eyes that, after surviving unspeakable horrors during WWII, he thought that he deserved more. He died a few years ago, in Frankfurt. It is really a shame.

Why is the comparison of value, money or support or material lifestyle, I think the idea is the most obsurd thing ever, it would give me nightmares of guilt even to suggest such a thing.

Wherever the money originates, Israel is not short of a few dollars to make sure that Holocaust Survivors are taken care of. As for your specific ailment, I once read a t-shirt that said "Engage brain before running mouth." Well that applies pretty much to you. One might think that someone so strident and rude, who accuses others of lying, bigotry, corrupt morals etc. would bother to check their facts before opening their big mouth. Why don't you go ahead and check your facts before accusing others of stupidity? You only embarrass yourself.

One might also think that one would supply facts when name calling others, and back up their accusations. It is easy for anyone to post something similar to yours, but you lack any piece of intellect or fact in your post. Do you deny the fact that Israel's economy creates jobs and prosperity as well as income for the state. You have some good comments there, but you forget the reason behind the high funding, that is the simple fact that no country also is under attack and scrutiny as much as Israel and without the funding Israel would be overwhelmed by her enemies. Also you are wrong, in 2004, foreign aid to Iraq was 18.44 billion, compared to 2.62 for Israel, and followed closely by egypt at 1.87 billion. In 2005 Israel was 2.58 billion and African aid equated to just over 4.05 billion. So israel does not receive more aid than all of Africa. is the fact that the military aid to Israel while higher in number is pretty much given right back to the US in arms purchases, creating jobs in america and providing taxes to the government so it's an indirect investment in it's own economy. Where as egypt who receives high amounts of aid purchases their equipment mostly from France. I saw this program on polish TV. I never tought that something like this can be real. How can peopele and Israel care so bad the Holocaust survivors. This program was shown in many countries, haw people in the world should learn about the history of Holocaust when the country of the Holocaust survivirs do nothing to help this people. The Holocaust survivors are hereos and it is a big shame how people who can, need and must help them they don't do that. Big, big, very big shame. We can only hope that God will redress them and punish this people witch should help them.
