Their "Peace" is synonym with surrender. Olmert is so impressed because some Arab governments are talking to him. He says they recognize Israel's power. Au contraire. Arabs are very much aware that this is a weak government in every sense of the word, and are eager to make a deal before a saner government replaces Olmert's. What Arabs recognize now is a good opportunity to make additional and important gains in their master plan to eventually take over the whole country. Maybe Arabs will make a concession regarding the right of return. No big sacrifice. They already have an increasing Arab population inside Israel that can overtake the Jewish population in a few decades. And in exchange for renouncing to the return of refugees, they'll get the territories that Israelis gave their lives for in 1967. Arabs will have no need to go to war or risk anything. Then Olmert will wave a piece of paper and call it a victory. Except that dissenting factions in "Palestine", Lebanon, and Syria won't allow a day of peace to Israelis. But Israel must make it clear that in order for there to be peace, both sides have to offer something. Israel must force the PA not to let Hamas commit one bombing, one attack, during a future West Bank pullout, or else face a unilateral pull-out completely on Israel's terms or no pull-out at all. All I'm saying is, Israel should try to make an oppurtunity out of this, but remain firm and watchful.
