1. ANOTHER NON-JEWISH SECT PRETENDING TO BE JEWISH
stude ham   (04.19.07)
Chabad Lubavitch uses the symbols of the jewish faith but do not really adhere to its precepts. Doughnut gifts on Hanukah? What a perfectly absurd non-religious and thoroughly ignorant venture. I'm sure the Maccabis, and the Rishonim never even knew of this revolting fried dough product. We must beware of those who go through extreme practices in the name of any religion or god.
2. GOOD MOVE Reb Wolpo.
Ely Greenhut ,   Tzfat Israel   (04.19.07)
3. to num 1
oki ,   il   (04.19.07)
....but the Macabbim would have torn Jewish children from their homes and handed them over to the enemy?!
4. Chabad is doing this as a lesson for those involved
David E. ,   Jerusalem   (04.19.07)
in criminal immoral Jewish law. That's the only way to stop Olmert and Peretz and Livni and the likes from such immoral behavior. EXCELLENT IDEA, Chabad. Kol Hakavod. You should also circulate photos of those ousting Jews from other cities in Israel; as in Chevron, etc.
5. One day they will understand...
(04.19.07)
That God will not protect them from Secular Israel, which they are causing to hate them by constantly disrespecting and fighting the establishment.
6. way to go Chabad, take account.
Yisraeli   (04.19.07)
7. Repugnant Losers!
Talula ,   Israel   (04.19.07)
If they have money to throw around, they should give it to the religious beggar that knocked on my door a few weeks back asking for a few shekels. The government needs to act on this NOW, they need to find these hateful evil people and lock them up before they do any harm. It's no good closing the stable door after the horse has bolted. ACT NOW!!
8. #1
Michael   (04.19.07)
I'm not lubavitch but your easoning is absurd. There is nothing religious or non-religious about it. it is simply a nice thing to do. Secondly, the word extreme is about to surpass the word peace as the most commonly used word. If Peace and extremists were floor mats they would have been worned out long ago.
9. These idiots should be locked up
Daniel van Dalen ,   Jerusalem   (04.19.07)
These idiots are dangerous criminals who should be locked up. Wolpe and his likes are psychopathic fundamentalists who would murder another Jew if they got the chance. They are sick, disturbed and perverted individuals who have been thrown out of the Chareidi world completely. As for me, I would not eat anything they touch, would not count them for a minyan and would refuse to speak to them. And I am not secular. I am an adherent of the most extreme chareidi circles in Jerusalem, affiliated with the Edah HaChareidis (Edah Haredit, as you might know it).
10. Unfortunately the list is much longer -
Jew ,   Jerusalem   (04.19.07)
Its not only the soldiers, they "just followed orders", but the backing justice and politicians. Even Nethanyahu voted in favour. The problem is a quiet majority with no backbone to stop a crime. Sharon and cohorts wiped out more Jewish towns and synagogues & graves than Ahemedinedjad!! The criem is even going on, as Sderot is deprived of protection, despite of the big words ahead of the disengagement.
11. IT IS NOT CHABAD!
Sergio ,   Qiryat Arba   (04.19.07)
IT IS NOT CHABAD! Wolbe's initiative and organization ARE NOT part of Chabad.
12. ORDERS
Benjamin Reiser ,   Moreshet . Israel   (04.19.07)
Does the author not find the phrase "soldiers who follow orders according to the law" at all troubling just a few days after Holocaust Memorial Day?
13. Fabulous
Stephen ,   Canada   (04.19.07)
Finally, a Jewish group other than this JTF people that support Israel and its Jewry. Good for Chabad. May their efforts lead to greatness and the transfer of all detrimental elements within Eretz Israel..... Congratulations.... Fabulous...
14. to #1 and #9 Kol haposal bemumo posel
Norman   (04.19.07)
Kol Hakovaod to Chabad. They are the only ones doing something. To #1 and #9 remember One who disqualifies others is himself disqualified. Think strongly and look in your backgrounds.
15. The problem is...
jman ,   jerusalem   (04.19.07)
If the Israeli government would go after them as enemies of state, than they would have to go after Yossi Beilin also!
16. # 7 too late th horse has already bolted ...
Jonno ,   Oz   (04.19.07)
Gush katif is already Judenrein hadn't you noticed?
17. I think they are looking to file complaints
Ilan ,   Ariel   (04.19.07)
Several police officers have been sued in civil court for acts of violence.
18. Wolfowitz supported the disengagement
eyal ,   Tlv   (04.19.07)
and sponsored the purchase of Jewish property on behalf of the Palestinians - - he too is being brought down for his crime.
19. SHAME on those NOT Chabad
rebab ,   raanana   (04.19.07)
Not even good jews...
20. You want Jews to die you blind fools!
שילה ,   ישראל   (04.19.07)
There is a prophecy of the inhabitants of Gaza will be severely punished, do you blind fools not realize that haShem, in His infinite wisdom, had the heart of Sharon change in order to protect Jews when haShem hammers Gaza. It is only temporary, so invest your energy in being kind to each other, helping the 26% in poverty in our country. Help olim find work, do good and stop the radicalization of the Torah. You wonder why we have the taliban and others? They are only a mirror of us. Will we ever learn????
21. If This Is True-
(04.19.07)
"Chabad faction is circulating photographs of soldiers who took part in disengagement, looking for their details" - then this is a Chilul Hashem.
22. They are a rogue, breakaway cult
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (04.19.07)
They are not part of Chabad or Judaism. They make feasts on Tisha B'Av. How sick is that?
23. Chabad's behaviour is completely rational ...
Observer ,   Europe   (04.19.07)
Treason against one's own people is recognized as the worst crime possible in rational countries. Israelis labelled as "Right Wing Extremists" are simply those who love their land and love themselves. Without these patriotic emotions a Nation cannot exist, and has no right to exist.
24. It appears that Peace Now a.k.a. YNet
Efraim   (04.19.07)
does not accept most of the talkbacks that were posted for this article. There were many who are very pleased with Chabad's "Wanted" idea.
25. Very good move
Alon ,   Tel Aviv   (04.19.07)
What is wrong in publishing names of people that attacked Jews? This is a very positive move. You already listen to many people in Tel Aviv saying that Sharon made mistake and we, Jews, paying now for it. You can't say that you followed the order of an almost dead man and did not have a choice.
26. Chabad, Extreme? Yellow Journalism!
Yonatan Koss ,   Chiloquin   (04.19.07)
Ynet=Peace Now, this is a more likely association. This diatribe, not an article of balanced writing comes right out of the old left wing play book with phrases like scheme and extreme right wing conspiracy . Can we all say Group Character Assassination? These writers are complicate in the lawless removal of good honest Jews from their homes. No, this article is decidedly listing to the stinking sinking left agenda of the destruction of Israel, not the good and honest reporting of facts with balance.
27. CHABAD IS GREAT. DO IT ! THOSE SOLDIERS ARE A SHAME
(04.19.07)
28. I HAVE A PICTURE OF OLMERT TO GIVE THEM
Ron   (04.19.07)
29. not chabad
jenn ,   israel   (04.19.07)
rav volpo does not represent chabad. he does his own thing and he doesn't listen to the chabad beis din. he is an embarassment to the real chabad movement and to all religious people.
30. I AM AMAZED AT THE ANTISEMITIC TONE OF SOME REPLIES!
Sergio ,   Qiryat Arba   (04.19.07)
I AM AMAZED AT THE ANTISEMITIC TONE OF SOME REPLIES! I guess that some people in our country have internalized all of the arguments and feelings of antiemites throughout the centuries.... That explains the hatred and manipulation expressed by some, whose typical representatives are self-hating pseudo-intellectuals a la Neve Gordon, Ariel Toaff, Norman Finkelstein, Moshe Zimmerman, Baruch Kimmerling, etc.
