This kind of news really offends me as I am French, proud of my country and I do not think it demonstrates what the 60 million French citizens are like. I will not comment on the cowardise of this incident which tells a lot about who commited it. I am just wondering what the French jewish community is waiting for to react stronger? We all know what happens as soon as something like that happens to a muslim-French: the whole community and the associations are in the streets, lawyers monopolize the media and, at worst, cars start to burn in the suburbs... One question: why is the jewish community in France (that includes so many highly ranked and respected artists, politicians and business men, philosophers, scientists, etc...) does make any noise about it? From a person like me that is not connected to the jewish community in France (only in Israel), it looks like no-one never dares to protest or to ask for repare. Enough is enough!
