There is a lot of misunderstanding between 'religious' and 'Gay' people and it stems from this.. We believe from Gods word that among many activities the homosexual act is a 'sin'. Now the homosexual people go to great lengths to 'justify' their lifestyle. saying they are born with the desire for same sex attraction. Now we do not doubt that this can be the case, but religious people know that we are all 'born' with defects because of the 'sin' of Adam and Eve, and everyone of us has a disposition towards bad. One this way another that. The new covenant that God has inaugerated through Jesus Christ is the forgiveness of sins and the reconcilliation with God. This is often used in spiritual words like being 'born' again, a putting to death of 'self' will. to a life in union with Christ and the doing of Gods will.Have met 'gay' people and understand their pain, and do not want to 'hurt 'but 'reason' that they have been lied to, by those in many positions of authority that they are doing natural acts, and if it 'feels good' do it. Whether you are Christian, Jew or Muslim, you should all be ashamed of yourselves. Remember - when you are face-to-face with your god - telling him you read the Holy Book will not save you. Yes we are created in his image and in his likeness. But his image and his likeness in not one of a fag lifestyle. You hate the sin, and love the sinner. But loving the sinner doesn't mean turning a blind eye to what they are doing and letting them display their ignorance. God loved the people he created, he told them not to live a homosexual lifestyle. They didn't want to listen, so they ran up against the judgement that had been set for that abomination. God will love you right up to the gates of hell. He gave all of us a choice. And he'll protect that choice. But there are consequences that go along with the choices we make. I am not gay :) You draw the assumption because I do not agree with the comments by people like yourself. I have read the Bible, and honestly, I can not see where he says "homosexuality is a sin". Please point it out to me so I can amend my opinion. Note though, I want to see in "black and white" where God says "homosexuality is a sin", not what people assume he means. Reason i am so against people's comments like yours, is that my wife's brother went through hell trying to work out why God made him gay. [He was a non-practising gay]. In the end, because of the prejudices, hatred etc from narrowminded people [not to mention the bashings], he ended up hanging himself. And the part that really infuriated me?
