The photo of Wingate, Sharett et al looks like other photos taken at the funeral of Chaim Sturmann, whose death at the hands of Arab terrorists so incensed Wingate that he eulogized Sturmann as 'a friend of the Arabs, who was killed by the Arabs.' It appears to have been taken at virtually the same time as the photo of the event in Sykes' Official Biography of Wingate.
