If I were the Prime Minister of Israel, I would immediately change policy. First: a 12.00 noose for convicted murderers (bring in capital punishment). Second: those protests at the fence would stop at once. Third: every time a Kassam hit into Israel, there would be a massive artillery barrage pinpointing the launch location. Fourth: I would end the indictments of officials while in office (let an ethics committee review each case. Fifth: Syria and Iran would be warned against attacking the country, or face total destruction. Sixth: I would have recurring war games along Israel's borders (let the Arabs sweat). Seventh: I would call in countries ambassadors and have a press conference once/week. Eighth: No right of return EVER. Ninth: no release of Arab killers for captured soldiers, And finally, I would complete the fence.

You have my vote. It is time for the leaders to grow some yichkes, including the females or step aside. The perceived (incorrectly so) weakness will only lead to a major confrontation. Better to deal with matters as you described on an ongoing and firm basis t.hen let things fester.
