Why don't you write about the consequences to all of us if we really lose a war? If we had lost in 1967, what would have happened to us? Stop crying & do something to raise morale. We fight because we have no other choice since losing is just not an option. A third of us were murdered in Europe because we couldn't fight. Be glad that now we can defend ourselves.

Israel hasn't had a "war" every five years. If by their calculations every skirmish constitutes a war, then Israel has been at war constantly during its existence. We all know that the difficult wars the Israelis have fought is the sad results of living amongst brutal savages. But, let me say this - with similar flawed reasoning, one can surmise that the US has been at constant war throughout its history starting with the French-Indian War up to today's Global War on Terror. If one figures in the War on Drugs, Crime, Gang violence, etc. etc. there hasn't been a day that the American people have enjoyed peace. I was recently released from reserve duty after 20 years. I proudly served. I didn't always enjoy it but I saw it as a necessity. We are in disagreement with those who Occupied our land and ejected and destroyed many of our ancient villages. The creation of Israel was on the expense of the destruction of other people. Read the literature of the Zionists and their agenda before coming to defend this fact. You should know that Palestinians Jews, like those in Nablus Samaritans, who are really Jewish in faith also disagree with much of Israel. Muslims and Christian Palestinians have semitic Jewish blood flowing in their bodies. A fact that is ignored by the Zionist Jews who want simply to get rid of anybody who is not Jewish. The matter is that as long as this line of though persists among the Israeli society, do not expect any resolution soon. But more enemity, hatred, and wars... The solution is that every body gets his rights. Refugees back to their stolen lands and towns. Stopping racism, and oppression. Even if this is on the cost of maintain a Jewish Israel. Because you know what, this is not duable. This land have never been purely Jewish ever in its history. Yes, there were Israelite prophets and Kings, but that is it for a limited period of time. Through the history of this area, many semitic people existed including the Arabs who existed here since the early days of histoy. Do not forget that south Palestine, East Jordan and East Syria are part of Ancient Arabic by definition.

The last real war for Israel was 73 that was a war I was there. 82 you did not feel that as a war everyone was not called up at once and there were not that many casualties in a short period of time. The second Lebaonon war was a battle not really a war some might disagree but they were not around in 73. LIke the first Gulf War I never thought as a war very few Americans got killed Vietnam was a real war. The second Gulf War is a real war.

Never having elected leaders the Dictators who rule us constantly define others as enemies which obviously requires us to go to war against them.
