1. Miserable Asshats!
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (04.24.07)
Oh, they call for calm after they attack? How sweet! Well, dammit, Israel, level the bastards and afterwards, you, too, can call for calm.
2. Monkey Island
Arnold Eisen ,   Bucks County Pa. USA   (04.24.07)
Gaza reminds me of Monkey Island at the old Philadelphia Zoo. It was an island of rocks, trees, and monkeys, ringtails, chimps, and other varieties all separated from spectators by a large mote and a fence. You could watch them swing from tree to tree and pull each others tails and poke and prod at each other. You could hear them screeming all day long. Such a site !!! The one big difference between them and the ones in Gaza is that WE NEVER GAVE THEM GUNS!!!!!
3. Coming soon : Shilat II
(04.24.07)
When Hamas want, it can take one, or more, IDF soldiers make a ride in the Gaza resort. Dont' want to negociate, want to continue the financial siege and the blocus of Gaza. There is a price to pay. This morning's attack was a clea message to Olmert, and we all know how this weak leader will respond : apaisement. Anyway, ha has no choice. American strategy imply calm on the israeli-palestinian front. If there is no end to the siege and no prisoners deal, the armed group will take the agenda in their hands.
4. #2 (Arnold the Terminator)
Wissam ,   Beirut / Lebanon   (04.24.07)
You are not giving the Palestinians Guns Dumb ass, but you sure are giving the americans Guns to shoot each other in schools and universities. Try to keep your dity tongue in your mouth, although i know its difficult for you to do that, for a simple reason,FRUSTRATION.
5. Will This Ever END?
Ron ,   Los Angeles   (04.24.07)

Ivri   (04.24.07)
7. If they see that Israel fulfills their demands
David E. ,   Jerusalem   (04.24.07)
of freeing their terrorist from prison, why shouldn't they give it another try for more prisoners?
8. the world needs to see
Nabulsi   (04.24.07)
so israel kills 10 palestinians in one day and no one lifts a finger in outrage now that a few home made primitive mortars land in open areas of historic palestine the world will errupt in anger for the sake of the peaceful israelis !!!!
9. Trust in a Peaceful partner.
Adrian Rod ,   Glenside PA USA   (04.24.07)
Israel is our Ally. The relationship is not always perfect, but we have common ground. Our respect for people to live in peace without harm to our children and families. The Palestinian government other hand has shown to respect terror. How do you trust in someone that wants to erase the existence of your whole population? I love and pray for Israel. The Country and the people of The United States will fight along side by side when called.
10. Kidnap attempt?
David L.   (04.24.07)
So far the IDF has not presented evidence for this. It looks more like they are trying to make people believe that "thanks to new procedures and an effcient system", they are able to avoid repeating the Shalit incident. The Gaza Strip is surrounded by an high-tech fence, and each inch of it is under constant watch by the most sophisticated observation devices and weapons, so don't get too excited. The mere fact that Hamas was able to lauch dozens of rockets and mortars without losses is in itself a failure for the IDF. What will Israel do now? Take the hit, as usual? Hamas will have a good laugh tonight if the IDF does not retaliate. Final comment: Ezzedeen-al-qassam brigades are not Hamas political wing. Those who think that Haniyeh knew about this are mistaken. The Qassam brigades are a bunch of terrorists, but don't put everyone in the same basket.
11. To Wissam
Jellybean ,   Chicago   (04.24.07)
I think your frustrated because you are getting the facts wrong. The US was sending guns and money to the Fatah government. I think its wrong..let the pails kill each other, that is what they do best! I agree with number 2. Besides like Lebanon has gun control laws..please such a loser!
12. Let's All Remember that Israel started this latest...
An Arab Neighbor   (04.24.07)
escalation in violence. Nobody told Israel to go into the territories and start shooting and detaining people left and right (militants or no militants). There was a relative truce, Israel broke this truce by staging this wide offensive. What Hamas and co. did is merely a retaliation. Or did you actually think that your offensive attitude will go unnoticed!!
13. #11 (Jellybean?)
Wissam ,   Beirut / Lebanon   (04.24.07)
we dont have gun control, but we never had a shootings in a school or university,i guess its not about the guns its about the PEOPLE using them. We usually go south and try our weapons on the "Israelis":).
14. Israel should use extortion like Hamas does
(04.24.07)
Cut off water, electricity and aid to Gaza. Let Hamas provide for their people. Mortars and Kassams do not feed the poor.
15. Wissam
Aviv   (04.24.07)
"We usually go south and try our weapons on the "Israelis":)." Well said... and then we go into your country and kill 2,000 of you for your stupidity...
16. ha funny
Robert ,   Manchester   (04.24.07)
few is very funny to describe this Palestinian effort which is run on a daily basis except "few hudnas" for few years. don't try to change facts.
17. # Wissam , Beirut / Lebanon
Tejo ,   Eurabia   (04.24.07)
Dream youre dream! You must be a victim of a brainwashed theory of some bunch of crimminals there in Lebanon! Remember, who whas recently shooting at each other in Gaza? When i'm correct, it was actualy the Fatah and the Hamas who where killing each other. What you talking about: we know how to use oure weapons. Dream youre dream, but i say: WAKE UP!!!! note: the gunmen in Viginia was no American, but an Asian lunatic! (also brainwashed?)
18. i am with you nabulsi brother i am with you
rashid ,   palistinian   (04.24.07)
why the zionist kill 10 of our most peaceful people that never hurt a fly, they will hurt a jew yes but never hurt a fly, believe me. they was only on their way to check on their sister to see if she was dressed properly or if she needs some beating because she was talking to some guy and bringing shame of her family and on all the palistinian people, believe me where is the good old day when we could shot at the zionist brother and the whole world would send us sweets and money believe me it is not on now they they want us to behave like the zionist filth, tfu tfu, to build roads and hospitals and to go to work, believe me brother i dont like it a bit where is democracy where is freedom where is free speach and where is freedom to shot at the zionist and getting away with it, believe me brother i dont like it
19. to arab neighbor
Phil ,   Washington DC   (04.24.07)
i dont know where you get your news, probably the bbc because you are an idiot like them, but Israel has been attacked with qassams every day since the ceasefire. They finally respond to such agression and all of a sudden its Israel that has broken the cease fire that never existed. The only cease fire was on Israel's part. This POS govt of "palestine" will miscalculate and attack again and again until Israel erupts and like a person holding in anger for years will completely obliterate those who have caused this
20. TO WISSAM
Alan ,   USA   (04.24.07)
You are holding the VA shooting as an example. Sure you dont have shooting at Univesities, thats because they are empty, the students are too busy trying to figuer out who holds the crown in your contry. Oh Your guns are only aimed at Israel?, yeah how about killing the Politicians, like Jemaiel (in his 30's) and Gebran, or killing the Prime Minister himself. So now tell me which is worse? Do me a favor, look at your interior problems, b4 trying to solve your neighbor's. By the way i am a Syrian jew, so i know everything thats going on in your neighborhood.
21. #8 - No Nablsi you freakin MORON....
AJ ,   Washington, DC   (04.24.07)
Israel kills 10 terrorist animals in one day. Don't call them "Palestinians" because you insult decent Palestinians who aren't terrorist animals.
22. To #2
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (04.24.07)
Nobody has to give us guns. Not only are we loaded down with those things, but if one of us goes nuts, and we kill each other now and then, it's nobody else's business. It's certainly not because we want a piece of our neighbor's back yard. As for practicing on the Israelis, some of you must belong to the gang that couldn't shoot straigt, doesn't know directions and blasted the southside of Beirut. Compared to any town in Israel, that place sure looks like a mess. Maybe you should ask the Israelis to give you geography and target lessons. But then again, what does Hassan care about Lebanon? He was probably pissed that he didn't make it to Haifa and let the Israelis take it out on the Lebanese.
23. #12...funny stuff...really!
DR ,   Florida, USA   (04.24.07)
Israel is hit with rockets almost daily, but you want them to sit there and do nothing? Spoken like a true Arab indeed!!!
24. Good Cop, Bad Cop Syndrome
Dave Levy ,   Burbank. USA   (04.24.07)
To David L. You are probably correct in your analysis. However, the "Good cop, bad cop" syndrome continues., with Palestinian factions either taking credit or accusing others of retaliating to Israeli provocations. It's never the fault of the Arabs, who play the game of musical chairs. This is the bottom line: Hamas which rules, must always be blamed for the actions of either it's members or other militants. That will take the steam out of their sails. Israel is always defensive in this Intifada 2. Had Sharon been Sharon of old, this would be history by now. Until Israel gets its act together, and becomes pro-active (not just hitting empty launch sites afterwards) this will get worse. For some reason, Israel never seems to learn. Firing rubber bullets, warning of attacks, and then reacting to Kassams, won't resolve anything. It makes the Jews look helpless and confused. One good artillery barrage will do a lot of good, without worrying about the UN, EU and Condi Rice (a lame duck Sec. of State).
25. #14 - absoolutely right.....Israel should cut Gaza off....
(04.24.07)
completely. No water. No electricity. Nothing. Until Shalit is returned and the attacks stop.

28. Terros get thousands in return for Crooks&Corpses

29. #2 - I don't mean to offend anyone
Otter ,   Canada   (04.24.07)
but the comparison between simians and humans is not too far off. We, all of us, are not that different from animals and it's an established fact that animals respect strength and harass the weak. They don't negotiate, appease (except from a situation of weakness), or give a rival the benefit of the doubt. They act decisively to defend their families and their territory. No strong animal leader will give territory away unless he is unable to defend it and only after fighting to the end. An animal with nukes and a strong army would be a respected animal. Let's learn from nature. And let me recommend the book The Lucifer Principle by Howard Bloom. It looks at politics, history, society and human nature with a perspective that helps understand what you read on YNET and other media today.
30. Post 22 should have been addressed to #4 Sorry!
