1. Koshers and the others :)
Atilla Karagözoğlu   (05.09.07)
Its not easy to stay as kosher ! even not 100 %. *** kosher ones are okey for me. at least THEY TRY TO BE MEN OF THE GOD (G-D). WE ALL NEED THEM. THEY TRY THEIR BEST TO STAY WITH H-M. *** I ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A KOSHER ONE. BAD LADIES AND COLD DRINKS ARE DEVIL...DEVIL :) But I have respect for each life. NO LIFE IS EASY. EACH LIFE IS AN ART. KOSHER OR NOT. But The God (G-d) doesnt think that way. I have no place in The God (G-d) I know it. But, this is my life. I deside about it. hell is okey for me. love Atilla Karagözoğlu
2. Health and looking good
Aharon   (05.09.07)
Undoubtedly, a gym for ultra-othodox Jews is a very good idea. On the other hand, I don't understand why an ultra-orthodox Jew shouldn't look good. I don't see anything wrong with looking strong and healthy instead of overweight and flaccid?

5. Not the first kosher gym
David ,   New York   (05.09.07)
From the mid-1980's until the early 90's I trained at Samson's Gym in Jerusalem, the first to separate men and women. Samson's was an establishment that was recognized internationally as a premier gym, and the model of fitness that all others tried, and failed, to emulate. I still wear the T-shirt which the Jerusalem Post called "Israel's most popular tourist gift."
6. Atilla Karagozoglu deserves respect
Benjamin ,   Brooklyn, NY   (05.09.07)
I think someone is trying to be funny here. Atilla Karagozoglu was killed when his pant leg got caught on a treadmill last year in Turkey and someone thought to make sport of it. Please respect the departed.
7. omg what a bunch of idiots!

9. It's weird, all this accent on secular style priorities
Hannah ,   Israel   (05.10.07)
yet shrieking kashrut certificates for dress shops. Make up courses, make up adverts, for the gals, this suit, that hat, for the guys. What a shallow lot they're becoming. This chareidi go getter, that chareidi Hilfiger woman. Writing tasteless and shallow articles, just to see their name in print. Reeks of hypocrisy.

14. to # 7 please rethink or think for the first time
yoni ,   jerusalem   (05.10.07)
thank you for your ignoratn talkback about what G-d cares about or doesnt care about based on your own desires and emotions. it would be nice if you thought a bit about who G-d is and what He wants from us His creations and His representing people in this world. it would even be nicer if you implemmented those concepts into your life. G-d very much is involved in this world and does care about what we do. He sets down virtues and values that He wants us to abide by. good luck
15. I wonder how much....
Hiram ,   tel aviv   (05.10.07)
..of the money made by the owner of the gym is going to the Tzedaka ?
16. Earthly pleasures
Nora ,   Tel Aviv   (05.10.07)
The "Gam ani rotse = I too want "syndrome is enlarging its borders incessantly. From the Kosher tours to the Caraibs to the creation of fitness clubs to the religious, all one needs is a Kachruth pretext . A pity that Rabi Shimon Bar Yohai is not there to tell us what it`s all about.
17. G-d bless you # 14.. and this is a really great idea..

20. fun lost
hanina   (05.10.07)
in galut we play thrill seeker by going to the gym at weird hours of the day to hide from our congregation. All power to mucles.
21. location
anonymous ,   Jerusalem   (10.26.09)
The kosher gym looked good but it is located in the most dangerous of busy parking lots with trucks, lorries and heavy vehicles constantly passing by the entrance. How come no-one though of that in advance? Please advertise when moving to a safer and better location.
