unless you want to be taken down by force like Olmert will with degredation and shame. Is that what you want the nation to do to you too?

... NOT !
6. I am so pleased by Livni's current behavior...
Roscio ,   Rome, Italy   (05.03.07)
... because she is proving even to the densest Israelis that she is a total hypocrite and just one more worthless wonk in this garbage regime. Each one of her inane statements and tactics loses even more last-ditch supporters for this PLO (Peretz-Livni-Olmert) dictatorship. Good! and soon, b-ezrat HaShem... good riddance!
7. long live israel, i love u guys.
fadi ,   lebanon   (05.03.07)
8. Livni, Please Reconsider Resigning.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (05.03.07)
Don't worry about "leadership qualities" - your performance has shown you don't have any. Do us all a favour, find another job where you can't do any more damage to our country. Please.
9. they were elected into office
peter mochama ,   nairobi kenya   (05.03.07)
in our country when we elected our leader we knew what we were doing. the old man was on cratches as he took oath of office but we did not care. we knew he is an accomplished economist who would turn around the economy. we knew it and several years down the line he has not let us down. i wonder whaether israeli voters had done their homework well before casting their precious votes in favour of Olmert! i loved sharon, bibi, Yitshak shamir and other great men that did wonders for israeli during their time. they knew what leadership was all about. they understood what the state of israel means and how best to protect it. but i speak with tears almost flowing down my cheek that those leading israel right now do not believe in their country. they are looters out to protect their names and salaries but not to protect the people. Olmert's refusal to resign is another sign of an arrogant man with no patriotism for his country.
10. After the Yom Kippur War, PM Golda Meir struggled
David E. ,   Jerusalem   (05.03.07)
for 10 days to keep her post. At the end, she gave up. Let's see how long Livni and Olmert will survive the pressure.
11. Please Livni, leave....
David Hes ,   Toronto, Canada   (05.03.07)
You are on a 'ship of fools, corruption and failures'. Show leadership and stop Olmert from sinking the party. Show resolute and resign, be a leader - you can do it.
12. My advice
Generalisimo Peretz ,   Middle East   (05.03.07)
I am now piloting my superjet somewhere in the sky and am unable to talk with you people. Solute to my good friend Tzippi. See you soon.
13. Hey Livni, you are a pathetic idiot. Resign you idiot.
Gary A. MD ,   Boston USA   (05.03.07)
Don't talk, just shut your mouth and resign. You have failed Israel & you have failed as a human being.
14. She thought of resigning? She should have!
robert renders ,   mechelen, belgium   (05.03.07)
My respect goes to Olmert. The Israeli people and their government should show a little more solidarity with the PM. At this moment, the enemies like massmurderer nasrallah are glowing.
15. hate to see A Lady SAD
Atilla Karagözoğlu   (05.03.07)
I realy dont know Her and her duty for Israel ! But there are too many MAN need punished in TURKISH WAY in todays Israel Political system ! Mrs. Livni is a MOTHER also. She is a Lady. whats wrong ! love Atilla Karagözoğlu
16. The end of the "Palestinians" will soon come Rashid...
Alexander ,   Herzliya-Israel   (05.03.07)
...and the entire world will know that there is no "Palestinian" people, "Palestinian" civilization, "Palestinian" culture, "Palestinian" language, "Palestinian" alphabet, "Palestinian" religion, "Palestinian" history or "Palestinian" ethnicity. Your little Allah hasn't brought any military victories to you Arabs and believe me and mark my words: the end to the hypocrisy, lies, terrorism, anti-Semitism and rewriting of Jewish history of the Arab world will soon come to an end. Israel's end is not near- it will never come. We have existed for 2600 years before the rise of Islam and we will exist for 2600 years after the demise of Islam. This is my land-get that straight. See you on the battlefield.

GO HOME n STAY HOME
23. Reconsidering
peter ,   amsterdam, NL   (05.03.07)
Quote:"I thought of resigning, Livni says: Foreign minister tells reporters she considered stepping down, but eventually changed her mind. 'Resignation is a form of protest, not necessarily an act of leadership,' she states." Wrong analysis, Tsipi. A leader takes decisions under pressure with a combination of head, heart & gut. if she wants to 'consider' things endlessly she should have pursued an academic career. But her head isn't good enough for that either. What she's left with is inertia, indeciveness and ultimately being found wanting in the dept. where she should be leading-direction, personal courage and instinct. Priorities aren't that difficult if you have them in them in the right order.
24. fadi
JL ,   israel   (05.03.07)
jesus fadi...i thought there were beautiful woman in lebanon...but if you say livni is such a cutie....

27. Olmert, Livni and the rest
Cato theYounger ,   USA   (05.03.07)
For the sake of Israel's survival, Olmert &the rest of the Kadima's dangerous incompetents, must be overthrown NOW by a military coup d'etat. EIN BREIRA.
28. Livni wants it both ways
alan ,   frisco   (05.03.07)
She wants to be PM But she does not want to exercize leadership by resigning. Besides the EU does not want the peace process to end. And heh why listen to tens of thousands on the street when your moral compass is spinning.
29. She thought? That must have been a first for her.
jason white ,   afula,israel   (05.04.07)
