If my country declines to attend the 40th anniversary of Jerusalem's unification, I would be honoured to attend in their place. Whilst I am not an ambassadeur, government official, or diplomat, I, like many other Christians within the UK, have prayed for and upheld the people of Jerusalem and Israel for many years. May I suggest that for every country who boycotts your celebrations, there will be many Christians from those countries who would be honoured to attend. The people of Israel should know in these times who their friends are

If the rest of the world wants to share in this blessing from G-d, then we welcome them with open arms. If they don`t, then we will go ahead without them. But we WILL go ahead either way.

Berlin is only a few hundred years old but Jerusalem has been Jewish for thousands of years, albeit under occupation by non-Jewish populations. Germans always longed to reunite the two halves of Berlin but they deny Israel the right to keep a united Jerusalem. When will Israeli leaders find the fortitude to stand up to the racist world and make their decisions based on what is best for Israel. Who cares what the Germans have to say. Scarcely two generations ago they were bent on destroying every Jew in sight, but now they have the arrogance to tell the survivors how to run their own country.

Those same nations that lauded the fall of the Berlin wall and unification of Germany... Still call for the division of Unified Jeruslalem? Same old double standards toward Israel.. Sorry, but Jerusalem was only divided between 1948 and 1967 , less time than Berlin

I would like it , but you are wrong . There is only one embassy left in Yeroushalaim . The consulates , you can have them in other cities too . The US embassy is , sad to say , still rechov Hayarkon in Tel Aviv .
