How much longer must the country wait for the two corrupt cowards to protect the people.Get rid of the idiotic bastards. If a business man can in one day do what the whole foul knesset are to scared to do the election must be held within the week.Good for you GAYDAMAK.. Please inform the nation whom to elect and am sure they will honour your wishes to get rid of these corrupt nincumpoops who are distroying Israel
2. Difference between Gaydamak and Govt
rh ,   Modiin   (05.16.07)
Gaydamek receives a letter Yesterday reacts today. Govt. Receives one, goes to different clerks takes two weeks to read. May get lost, passed to wrong people, thrown out. If it is read they propose a response. Reply is written, or passed to correct ministry. If they are lkucky a bidget is proposed to be voted on in the next meeting 3 weeks away........ In short nothing happens. This is a disease with most big organisations and especially with govt. It is call bureaucratic inefficiency.
3. Sderot
George Glancz ,   big Bear USA   (05.16.07)
Olmert and Peretz, seems to be enjoying the MURDER of Israeli civilians in Sderot. It is time for the Jews all around the world to tell the COWARD Israeli Leaders, that it is time for them to GO, or all Jewish aid to Israel would stop.

There is no shame in running. Unlike you Arabs, we actually value our lives.
9. Opinions, anyone?
Kevin G ,   Oregon   (05.16.07)
Wouldn't it be better for Israel, small as it is, to be governed as a federal state, with "provinces" or "states" with their own administration? There is such disparity of interests between the cities and the different regions (Yesha, Negev, the north, etc.), that it would make sense to have a Senate representing regions. Like the US, they would have more clout as well. They would not be at the mercy of the cabinet and of national political parties. Take Sderot and neighboring communities. They could elect a governor who would be directly responsible for the welfare of his region. (Interested Gaydamak?) Yesha is almost like a separate country. It would benefit from its own police force, its own administration. Just an idea.... Sure, the country is very small, but its divisions run deep.
10. #2 - You forgot something
Kevin G ,   Oregon   (05.16.07)
They need to consult with the US. Little is done by the government without the master's approval.
11. When will the Military do something
Sam WEinstein ,   USA   (05.16.07)
Olmert and Kadima have to leave office and call new elections. This is intolerable. How many people must die in Israel so they can have a legacy. Doing nothing will cause a war in 6 months because it will embolden our enemies.
12. The Tragedy of Sderot
Brod ,   USA   (05.16.07)
It is really sad to see what is happening to Sderot and the surrounding towns. Being bombarded with flying bombs, seeing their hard work and homes destroyed, getting killed and being terrorized and stressed constantly without any help from the government and the army to defend them, is like living in Hell. It is a piece of the Holocaust. The tragic situation is that they have a Prime Minister, Defense Minister and a government who refuse to protect them from these aggressions. What a good man like Gadyamak is doing excellent. However, it is the DUTY and RESPONSIBILITY of the government to protect and defend its citizens from enemy attacks. If the government which has no popular support continues to ignore the plight of its citizens in Sderot and surrounding towns who are being bombarded with flying bombs, it is just a matter of time before they will come face to face with reality. And it will be too late. To spare the citizens of Israel from this tragic situation, the government should resign to pave the way for a new government that can deal with Israel's enemies effectively and restore Sderot and the surrounding towns the peace and security that they had under previous governments.
13.  There are quite a few millionaires here.

14. HEY KALAAM FADI!
SS ,   ISR   (05.16.07)
MAYBE YOU DID NOT YET READ ABOUT GAZA BEING LIKE A GHOST TOWN. ITS TIME YOU SHED A TEAR AT THE SUFFERING OF YOUR OWN. MURDER IS NOT A SPECTATOR SPORT.

17. Who does Olmert and the Govermenbt Work For
Sam Weinstein ,   USA   (05.16.07)
Who does Olmert and the Govermenbt Work For?? The US EU Hamas, PA? They certainly don't work for Israel based on their actions here.
18. Thank you, Arkadi
Marcell ,   Kibbutz on border   (05.16.07)
It is tragic that our Government has once agin let a terrible 24 hours of bombing go by without lifting a finger. Our children slept in a communal shelter last night, the bombs didn't stop falling until after midnight, and started again at about 5 am this morning. We see helicopters overhead, but they are not even armed, and we feel very alone in our desperate situation. The local schools have been closed for fear of further attacks in the coming days; and we are in exactly the same situation we were a year ago in May/June, when we closed the schools early and taught our children in the kibbutzim until the summer break. So nothing has changed, except for the Kassam bombs which are getting bigger and more powerful and more accurate. Thank God for people like Arkadi Gaydemak, he brings some relief to the residents of Sderot, our neighbours; only to be slandered by the Israeli press at every turn, because Israelis find it hard to believe that a person could do something good for his fellow citizens with no ulterior motives.
19. #6, 8 true fadi never writs in capital letters !
(05.16.07)
20. Mr. Gaydamak - do you know weher the Galiliee is?
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (05.16.07)
We went through a war last year. A war more severe than the rocket attacks on Sderot. Most stayed unless their homes were destroyed. I sympathize with the people of Sderot but lets show a little bit of guts and gumption. Are we the same as the British Marines who said "fighting was not an option"? Sure get the kids, the old and the sick out. If we run away now, well why the hell did we leave the Concentration Camps to face unbelieveable odds here. Get up my friends and kick their Palestinian butts!
21. Gaydamak evacuates

There is one small difference: you were under fire for a month, and we have been under fire for 6 years . . . . .
23. OLMERT IS TO BUSY!!!
Chana ,   Israel/USA   (05.16.07)
Olmert is to busy giving land back to the Pali's to care about the Jewish people!!
24. #9 Kevin
Ronnie ,   Gedera, Israel   (05.16.07)
Your idea might work if we were a larger country. Contrary to what the world realizes, Israel is only the size of New Jersey, with a population less than New York City. Yeah, sure, Israel is occupying vast amounts of Muslim areas. Yeah, right! All of this in a New Jersey size area! And the Muslim countries occupy 20 % of the land mass of this planet.....30,000,000 square kilometers, bigger than the United States and all of Europe combined. It really burns me up when I hear all this BS about "Israeli Occupied Lands".
25. SHDEROTH
DANIEL RIMOKH ,   LOS ANGELES   (05.16.07)

26. Gaydamak should be the next PM of Israel!
Steve ,   USA   (05.16.07)
27. #20 David, are you suggesting Sderot forms an army?
AK   (05.16.07)
It's not a bad idea, but where will the money for arms come from and will the national government allow it? I sincerely doubt it. Israeli government may have problems fighting Arabs, but they have already shown a total lack of inhibition when comes to fighting Israeli Jews. btw, will you come to help fight?
28. Send some B52's - strategic bombers
Lemmings Hotline ,   San Diego   (05.16.07)
First - drop a load of duds from one of those B52's to introduce the concept. If they dont learn from that, then give them a reason to hate you. Remember what happened to Dresden, Tokyo, Hiroshima Nagasaki. The message is - STOP, STOP STOP FIGHTING OR EAT IT.
29. Bibi
Jim ,   Baltimore, MD, USA   (05.16.07)
I have a hard time believing that any of the security problems Israel is facing would exist had Bibi been elected instead of that idiot Olmert.
