These refugees from Darfur are persecuted by muslim arabs - they have similar enemies to yours. They probably won't be influenced by muslim Jihad propaganda and antisemitism - at least if they're helped in Israel, and not sent back to the desert, and into an arab state. If Israel helps them, they'll probably be thankful, and (at least some of them) even love Israel. Even if they'll come into contact with anti-Israeli islamistic propaganda, they won't believe it because they know from experience, that it isn't true. They'll know: Muslim arabs tried to kill us, they killled our friends and relatives, but the Jews saved us, gave us shelter, food, etc. - So with this experience, why should they believe muslim arab propaganda against their new friends, the israeli jews? They'll be more zionistic than many Israeli Jews (and Rabbis). On the other side, if they're sent back to a muslim country, under the influence of anti-israel propaganda, and with the feeling that Israeli Jews are racists and hate none-Jews - than they start to hate Israel. But as I said, if they're helped in Israel, they'll know who their friends are - and they'll be much more zionistic, and loyal to Medinat Israel, than some israeli orthodox Rabbis, or some arab Israeli citizens. Why inded is it Israel's duty? I don;t see any Muslim country rushing to help their brothers. These people are from an enemy nation . If Israel accepts them as refugees it then takes them in as citizens. No one has checked these people out, they just walked across the border. I think that is the context of the question. Whatever else one may think, it seems a bad policy to house, feed, provide medical care and grant citizenship to people who have not be certified as genuine refugees who do not threaten the security of the country. Israel has previously accepted refugees from both Yugoslavia and Vietnam, so there is a precedent.
