Perhaps, if you people would stop looking for hand-outs, and find some other line of work besides causing mayhem, there might not be any starving children in Gaza.

Go get money from your rich Ayrab brothers to feed the kids of Gaza you imbecile.

The Palestinians just take and in return, give back terror. Your children wouldn't be starving if you fed them solutions instead of hate, propaganda and ignorance. I'm afraid weapons are low in nutritional value.

My initial reaction was kol ha kavod to Israel but then I began thinking. How can we presume to distribute medicine and medical aid abroad when over one million Israelis live in poverty. Why are their funds for the Vietnamese but not for our own holocaust survivors. If we can't afford to improve the conditions of our own citizens living in poverty, we can't afford to send aid abroad.

when you have a huge sect of the population sitting on their asses and learning holy writ all day - send them to reeducation camps, force them to GET JOBS and not be PARASITES and then you will eliminate poverty

No argument with that. The parasitic poor you talk about are a drain on resources, but I'm not talking about them. I'm talking about the working poor. THe people who have to educate, feed and house their families on minimum salaries. The children who can't get books for school because there is no money for books. These people are the forgotten poor. No one is worrying about them.

Have you seen the cost of this humanitarian aid ? 50,000 US$ . if you want to give this sum to the poor here , it's less than a one ILS per poor , not to talk about .

the israelis are quite right to help vietnames people. i have frequently been a guest in both countries, and was surprised, and very pleased, as to the similarities i found. though with the israelis, such welcome is actually state policy, an ideological thing
