I'd like to defer to you because you are right there, in Israel. However, it is no secret that Bush and the Saudis are pushing for a so-called peace plan, that is being drawn at the expense of Israel's present and future security. This plan involves relinquishing the Golan and most of the WB. They don't want a greater intervention in Gaza because it might weaken Abbas hold on power. That's all. Even the IDF would like to press harder on Gaza but they are being held back by Olmert. Here's an article published by Debka File a few days ago: "Lt. Gen. Keith G. The present government haven't got the stomach or the guts to stop the terror attacks. The military should force the government to step down, while they enable the safety of the residents of Sderot, get the terrorists sorted out, and then have elections for a new and patriotic government.
