First of all there must be a moratorium on all peace talks until the Palestinians stop their aggression against Israel and against each other. They must prove that they are a credible entity before there is any thought of giving them a country. But with no likelihood of Palestinian culture undergoing any positive change, then Israel must reverse the Disengagement. The Palestinians need to be "adopted" by more established Arab countries. As things stand now, they have zero prospects for a viable country. There can be no Palestine. The only solutions left for Israel now are the difficult and unpopular ones. Enough with peace talks already.

In Lebanon and Iraq, with no occupation, it's Arab vs Arab..Hezbollah is ready to pounce on the Christians. In Iraq, the Shias will exterminate the Sunnis, given the chance (or vica versa). So, any such Israel move...is national suicide. Yet some media people and pundits still blame Israel for the world's ills. How dare Israel defend itself they are really saying. Like Hamas, it's all about trickery...to trick Israel into indefensible borders. Then when Israel is attacked, they won't cry one tear. Not going back into Gaza was a smart move by Olmert, if not criticized by many who are not seeing what lies ahead of the IDF. Israel does not have to occupy Gaza, just pound it.

Face it, right now, the Palestinians are suffering far more under the poverty handed to them by the PA and by the Hamas-Fatah infighting, than by any Israeli airstrike or raid. And don't give me BS about Israel causing the Palestinians to be in poverty, The PA has always received a massive amount of foreign aid, and even after the int'l boycott, receives it through the office of the president. The inefficiency of the government and their inability to lead makes pointing fingers at Israel a much easier tactic than actually helping the people.
