31. #29 Marcelo. You should be appointed HEAD of Israel PR
Tim - Brighton ,   UK   (05.25.07)
Thats what I call fighting Israels corner. No emotional garbage. Just the plain facts. Then let the public decide.
32. #6. Malcom. You are all MOUTH. No brains
Tim - Brighton ,   UK   (05.25.07)
Israel has to advance its case and seek to win public opinion and especially to redress the extensive MISINFORMATION about Israel. This idea that you dont care a fig or cock a snoop at world opinion is simple minded and foolish. At last the Israeli Government recognises it has to go on the offensive to counter the sometimes ruthless Anti Israel propaganda by some even so called reputable sources like the BBC. And they should be applauded.
33. #28 Joe - you are such a stereotyper, you put words in
sheri ,   rockville maryland   (05.25.07)
another's mouth - and then attack them. #16 was describing political generializations. Not ethnic or cultural stereotypes. You can't tell the difference - which speaks volumes about your own propensity to predjudice. And if american's support Israel - they are stupid? Get a grip, and stop speaking stereotyped hatred of others.
34. #17 it's Israeli land, they can't be illegal
sheri ,   rockville maryland   (05.25.07)
Israeli land won in a defensive war. What to do with the resident Palestinians is a question mark. The one thing Israel could offer was land and international support for statehood. Overlay a chart of how many times the Paless have turned down that offer. The settlements are on 3-5% of the land. Land exchange was offered. They aren't what's stopping statehood. It's that the Pales know that with statehood they have to give up on removing Israel and replacing Israel with an Arab country. This focus on the settlements is just a cover to justify yourselves to yourselves and to anyone else you talk to. It doesn't bring peace. It isn't truth. What's so sad is who's getting hurt. It's yourselves getting hurt by not taking the offer of a country the way any other people would jump at. Never mind the people dieing. You don't get to have a good life this way, nor digity and pride. And some Israeli's eat up your version of this because they just can't deal with how sad it is and how painful it is to them to be in this position of asking WHAT to do with these residents since the current situation of security control is distasteful to ISRAELIS.
35. Good PR - Israel's notoriously bad at it - so good news!
sheri ,   rockville maryland   (05.25.07)
Sounds like a good idea. (Never know. The world can make anything Israel does into a problem.) Still, I'm seeing more PR efforts lately to get some of Israel side and more importantly - truth - out there. I'm so glad. From the news the last few days you'd like only Israel was doing something violent and the kassams are just an casual problem.
