Iran's nuclear program is peaceful. There is not any solid evidence to the contrary. They have been abiding by the legal contracts that they have signed. They have not done anything illegal. American children will not die for Israel in their religious disagreement with the the Muslims.

While I believe Iran likely has plans for nuclear weapons, I also believe they are pursuing a nuclear program so they can generate electricity. The days of abundant oil are QUICKLY coming to and end. Iran knows it, Saudi Arabia knows it, the U.S. knows it (why do you think they are busy positioning themselves so well in the region?) The war in Iraq, this mess with Iran, make no mistake it really is ALL about the oil.

They signed the treaty along with the US. There is no evidence Iran is enriching uranium past the 5% necessary for nuclear fuel. The war mongering idiots who continually call for attacks on yet another sovereign nation are all out of their minds.

We can, we should - completely shut down their power grid. Destroy their power stations, wipe out their electrical distribution grid. Knock it out, and keep it knocked out - forever, if necessary. You can't produce fissile material without power - and lots of it. They want to live in the stone age, after all - we should grant them that wish.

The West needs to get serious about Iran's nuclear program. It is absolute nonsense that they are not developing nuclear weapons. If this was not the case, why then are they working so hard on missiles that can go thousands of miles? Nobody develops missiles that can fly that far unless they are armed with WMD's - a conventional weapon would be useless, as long-range ballistic missiles do not possess pinpoint accuracy. The West, especially the United States needs to stop wasting its time with diplomacy and throw down the gauntlet with an ultimatum: Turn off the nuclear program, or we will. If Iran foolishly calls our bluff, then we respond by taking out their nuclear facilities by military means. If they try to rebuild them, then hit them again and again until they get the point. If they respond with terrorism or other mischief, then we get serious, and perhaps we sink their navy or flatten their capital. Tough talk from me, you ask? I just spent twenty years in the Marines and have no fear of the jihadists - I certainly was not impressed by what I saw of them in Iraq, as they were generally cowards and rarely fought in the open. One of the main problems that the U.S. military has in Iraq is a lack of targets for its air and navel power. Iran, on the other hand has many fine targets that could be nuked into oblivion. Nuclear program is peaceful because they said it was peaceful (wink, wink). You need to fully understand the threat we face. The UN SC is a eunich at best. They are afraid to step out of the politcally correct box they are trapped inside of. The reason they are afraid is because they don't want to be the one to start a religious WORLD WAR, but by not acting that is precisely what will happen. Welcome to the next world war if we do attack Iran, and welcome to the next world war if we don't attack Iran. I would think that we would be better off if we did not allow Iran to start the world war with a nuclear weapon, or by allowing Iran to give their nuclear information to a terrorist like OBL.
