O ,   New York, USA   (05.31.07)
takin a tough stance on the thugs in Gaza...now the only thing that is needed is ACTION...lets solve this problem once and for all...only way to fight terror is with force...especially wit Hamas.... LONG LIVE AM YISRAEL!!!
3. No Law say we can't
Sam Weinstein ,   USA   (05.31.07)
Where does it say that we have to help the PA and Gaza? Cut off their power and water and food and let them figure out how to get out of their situation. totally cut them off from Israel let them deal with Egypt
4. Great Plan
Andrew Hamilton ,   Sydney, Australia   (05.31.07)
This is a great plan. Complete seperation and severe bombing in response to every Quassam. Rabbi Eliyahu has set out the halachic principle that Israel should not risk Jewish lives to protect Palestinian civilian who are in any case complicit in Hamas's aggression (they voted for them) Furthermore why is Israel supplying electricity and tax revenue that is used to make Quasams?
5. Liebernan is a genius but he is surrounded by shmuks

(05.31.07)
8. The only viable nation state of all greater Palestine Arabs
Uzi ,   Haifa   (05.31.07)
is the Kingdom of Jordan. Whoever objects the concept of isolating Gaza admits that any separate 'national' entity of the Western Palestine Arabs is not viable.
9. gaza
colin ,   colin   (05.31.07)
Finally a minister has arrived at a workable approach against gaza and hamas Problem is it talk or will his proposals be instituted?? This corrupt government does not have the gumtion to follow through.
10. LIEBERMAN'S PLAN
POPPY   (05.31.07)
COLIN WELL SAID END
11. Finally, someone with a bit of sense
Leo King ,   Roleystone Australia   (05.31.07)
As a former ardent supporter of a two-state solution, it should be clear to the world by now that this is not even a remote possibility with the current Palestinian mindset and with the trend of growing Moslem fundamentalism worldwide. While Condi Rice still dreams the impossible, Liebermann's approach is a pragmatic one and should be carefully considered by the Israeli government even in spite of the international criticism it might invoke. With such a solution Hamas and Fatah can return to what they do the best: killing off each other! Bravo, Mr Liebermann!
12. Israel Beiteinu must withdraw from the coalition - NOW
redkmike ,   tel aviv - Israel   (05.31.07)
I voted for I.B. but will never do so again if Lieberman continues to support the Olmert junta. Now with the changes taking place in Labor is the perfect time to quit the coalition and bring down our non-government !
13. Only viable plan on the table so far
Paqid 16 Netzarim ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (05.31.07)
14. Lieberman is one of the only members of Govt with imaginatio
rh ,   Ashdod Israel   (05.31.07)
Like his plans or not he does come up with alternatives. He is a thinking person which is more than I can say for many other people in the Knesset
15. liberman plan
philippe ,   ashdod israel   (05.31.07)
make this guy prime minister! that s a realistic plan for a change!

the plane sounds too good for Lieberman's level of thinking.
17. many good points!
uli ,   jerusalem   (05.31.07)
18. Lieberman's Plan
the Voice of Reason ,   Here&Now   (05.31.07)
Seiing as they do not want to get out of the government this plan sounds great. A workable plan, that is completely legal.
19. BIG TALKER
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (05.31.07)
Lieberman has lost any credebility he had and is by him holding his seat warm in this looser government, just as much part of the problem. He is a big talker but by keeping these people in power he will achieve nothing. So he has not done anything but suck up taxpayer money. He is just prove that only a system overhaule will bring changes.
20. Mr. Lieberman for President of ISRAEL
Atilla Karagözoğlu   (05.31.07)
He is young. He loves Israel He has some politics. *** He will not be that slow President. It is about The Time to put someone who is active. Israel must make Presidenty place as an active politic for Israel. *** He is a politician now. But NOT A LEADER WHO HAVE WORLD VISION ! If he has THE LEADER potential in him, He will be so bored in Presidenty Place. The place will be AS PRISON for him. in 6 ! years he can come back with GREAT EXPERIENCES to run for PM of Israel. *** YOUNG ISRAEL NEEDS YOUNG PRESIDENT. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO SAVE AND TO EDUCATE MR. LIEBERMAN FOR THE FUTURE PM OF ISRAEL. Save him ! help Israel ! love Atilla Liman Karagözoğlu
21. lieberman , you are our hero.BE PRIME MINISTER PLEASE

22. no movement between Gaza and the West Bank,
(05.31.07)
not of goods, not of people, and not of thoughts.
23. Gaza : Enemy entity
Nora ,   Tel Aviv   (05.31.07)
Your approach should be analysed seriously by our govenment. Will it be? No. Unless you yourself become PM, not a realistic possibility in the near future.
24. Almost a very good idea
Rachel ,   Tel Aviv   (05.31.07)
We cannot stop Hamas with only air attacks. It's been proven true by every modern army fighting terrorists like this. Also, take away the cell phones from these inmates and make their life so unpleasant they will beg to get Shalit back.
25. What will Lieberman do when Israel gov tells him to get lost
Yossi ,   Nahariah   (05.31.07)
Will Lieberman then wake up and realize this government is a puppet of the US and will not lift a finger to do what's needed to secure our borders and protect the people. Lieberman needs the courage to bring down gov if they reject plan. Plan must also include incursion into Gaza. It's now a proven fact that rockets can't be stopped by air attacks only. DO WHAT'S RIGHT
26. The Moldavian Immigrant
campbell ,   London   (05.31.07)
please explain to me why this Moldavian is qualified to comment about people that have lived in the land for thousands of years.
27. I'm with Lieberman.
Esther ,   Ofarim, Israel   (05.31.07)
28. Liebermans plan. Plus last nights interview on Channel 4 UK
Tim - Brighton ,   UK   (05.31.07)
Couple that with worldwide interface with media to EXPLAIN ISRAELS proposed action BEFOREHAND. Give a time limit. Say 7 days. If the attacks continue ratchet up the pressure in stages. It is so important to relate to the media given their often gross misrepresentation of the facts. In the UK there are so many examples most of which go unchallenged. Yesterday for example Jon Snow at Channel 4 was interviewing a Hamas official, talking about the Fatah/Hamas violence and the kidnapping. Not ONCE did he challenge him or MENTION the Kassam attacks. Whilst he did challenge the official on a remark made about destroying Israel to which the official replied it was said in a moment of anger Jon Snow failed to ask the question we all WANT ANSWERED. Do you recognise Israel? And the difference in the way Jon Snow interviewed that Hamas official compared to Israeli officials makes VERY UNCOMFORTABLE VIEWING. Its so obvious. So I challenge J Snow. Did you not ask these questions because you forgot, did not think they were relevant, felt intimidated by Hamas? Because in that interview J Snow you failed your audience, your journalistic standards, your Channel and most important THE TRUTH.
29. Parts of Plan: TO MUCH CHILDLY...
Rebab ,   Raanana Israel   (05.31.07)
30. Obvious plan
Chaya ,   Bat Yam, Israel   (05.31.07)
Why should we be responsible for their infrastructure??? The best thing would be to let them implode. I feel sorry for those who are not taking part in any of the violence - either internally or against us. But we have to think of ourselves first! Matter of fact, this is exactly what Suliman Qadia, formerly of Gaza, now a resident of Sderot, suggests!!
