As an expat, I would suggest we just boycott Britain, it is a failing country anyway.. look at its education system, the NHS and the actual low turnout at all elections leading to an undemocratic government - as the majority do not get the party they want..and democracy just does not exist there BOYCOTT THEM!

As someone who is deeply involved in collaborative research on European level, I have worked with English universities a lot in the past years, and intend to do so in the upcoming 7th Framework Programme of the EU. But now I will ask my British colleagues about this boycott, be assured. No-one can force me work with so-called academics who favour academic boycotts, let alone anti-Jewish boycotts. On the other hand, I will use this occasion to seek for Israeli contacts and establish a new academic cooperation with them (Israel is a fully eligible partner in the current EU Framework Programme for R&D). I have already located potential partners at the Technion in Haifa, at the Faculty of Agriculture in Rehovot, and at the Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva. I am appalled at this decision to boycott Israeli academics & the injustice of it.Even though im not Jewish,i have decided not to support Britain with any trade through my numerous companies.I will be looking for alternative sources of imports & will not travel to England anymore.
