31. To the morally inept Hani:
Truth bounces back ,   USA   (06.03.07)
You will defend any actions of the Palestinians no matter how backward, psychotic, insane or harmful. Enough idiotic ranting from you already! Go and put on your hijab thingy before you get your throat cut, that's what you want, isn't it? You pathetic blind idiot!
32. To Gazans: "Good luck with all THAT!"
Jerry Seinfeld ,   NY   (06.03.07)
33. To #24, Israel's fault?
Savion ,   Houston, Texas   (06.03.07)
While the "Palestinian" refuges are languishing in Jordan, Lebanon, Gaza and elsewhere, their Arab brethren are completely apathetic to their plight. On the other hand ALL of the 800,000 Jewish refuges from Arab countries have been absorbed by Israel and other countries, and are living PRODUCTIVE lives. All the Arab refuges do is whine and complain...get a life, start over like everyone else!!! Your fellow Arabs do not care about you, THEY are the bad guys.
34. #24 NO WONDER THERE IS NO PEACE - WITH MORONS LIKE U AROUND
(06.03.07)
You exhibit the PRECISE mentality that is the root of the problem. SICK.
35. #24 - Hani, indulge me. What are Palestinians
Michelle L. ,   Vancouver   (06.03.07)
responsible for, exactly? Of all the things that go on in the PA, what are they responsible for that they cannot blame Israel for? I'd appreciate a response.
36. ??these are the moderates??
rachel   (06.03.07)
These are the moderates that WE are training in Jericho???!!!!!!! The day has broken....WAKE UP my beloved land...AM YSRAEL CHAI!
37. No. 24 - Thank you for the comment, Hani...
Saul ,   Barcelona   (06.03.07)
...but you are very confused, possibly as a results of living in a "pressure cooker" that you are alluding to? The rhetorical acrobatics that you are resorting to in order to blame Israel for every bad thing that happens to Arabs, are truly astonishing! Do you really believe what you are saying? What did Israel expect, you pose, after the Gaza pullout, now that the Palestinian stated reason for violence has been removed? Not a Jew in sight, but you claim that the current reprehensible situation in Gaza is still the fault of Israelis, since they were naive enough to expect Gaza to become a peaceful neighbor. Thanks to your bretheren and your pals in S. Lebanon, Israel is not going to make that naive mistake again. Does that really make you happy, Hani? Finally, nowhere in your post do you refer to the article's actual subject, the disgusting, barbaric threat issued by your bretheren to your own uppity sisters. But why should you, since you absolve your people from any responsibility? Anything that does not fit your agenda simply gets swept under the rug. Just pray that the internet cafe you are writing your posts from does not get blown up by your "heroic resistance". BTW in case you missed it, and post no. 10 did not spell it out for you, my initial post (no. 6) was pure irony. You know irony? It's like goldy, but made of iron... You might also want to read my response to your "bit of insight", as you so preposterously call it, posted in the "Fighting intensifies at Lebanon camp" article talkback. Insight coming from a closed lazy mind will never be taken seriously, except as an illustration in a pathologic case study.
38. Jahiliah
ben ,   singapore   (06.03.07)
It has all the while been the PRACTICE among the Arab Aribu to kill new born female babies until the so called Islam came in 610 hijrah, but latter Islam made is worst, that they slaughter NECK to NECK, Chop Hands etc. This is the LEGACY OF EXTREMIST ISLAM. I THINK THEY SHOULD COME UP WITH CASTRATION, for Muslim Man who Marry more then one. No wonder MUslim Women want to Marry Our Jews boys. The INTERNET CHAT are SPEAKING for the FACTS as REPORTED! You see at the end of the Day only JEWS can free the Islamic Women but not The Muslims. They OPPRESS Women from the time they are born to the day they die !
39. I was gonna deliever a few good
Joe ,   Ohio, USA   (06.03.07)
whacks at Hani #24 but every post after his said all I could. Too bad this myopic idiot and his ilk will never learn anything, and is doomed to live life as his ancestors did 4000 years ago.
40. Hani is the reason for war!!!
DR ,   Florida, USA   (06.03.07)
A perfect example of why Israel is at war. You cannot reason with people who do not see reality. Their inability to look in the mirror and be self-critical is their downfall. Hani and his people have been programmed to point their fingers at Israel without even reading the story. if anything bad happens in their life, it is Israel's fault...no questions asked. Palestinians are lied to their whole lives and have become delusional as a people. How can Israelis reason and compromise with a culture of lies, violence, hate and death???
41. #24, Hani, Why no response to the TB's
Ilana ,   galut   (06.03.07)
??????????????????????????? Have you lost your mind-----(along with the skull it was encased in), for spewing your bizarre hatred----without wearing your hijab?????? Or. Maybe you've been "honor" killed for posting from an Internet Cafe??? If so..... Sorry. No disrespect meant for the (brain) dead........
42. Response to all, especially the cool-headed #35
Hani ,   Palestine Vagabond   (06.03.07)
Rather than attack my character and throw cheap accusations, I'd appreciate some intelligent responses that at least address my theory that it was the **unilateral** disengagement of Sharon the Bulldozer that helped plunge Gaza into anarchy. Mental disorders such fanaticism, terrorism, religious hypocrisy, to name a few, are all directly linked to a general feeling of despair. This despair is an outcome of the death of the peace process, thanks to Sharon the idiot who openly said a Gaza disengagement would pave way for a "tightening of ownership" at "Judea and Samaria". How easy to blame Palestinians for the situation. With no sovereignty, bombed power stations, closed borders, and murderdered fisherman and families, it's all their fault right? It was ALL in their hands to improve their lifestyle, of course all they had to do is recognize and legitimise the process which *pushed* them into Gaza from the onset? Yes, we Palestinians owe much of our misery to some of our own actions. Fighting each other. Corruption. Highjacking of the term Islam. Mistreating our women and minorities. All of the above is our own making which in my opinion weakens the Resistance. But all of that is a needle in the haysack compared to Israel's usurping of Palestinian lands, denying our existance, imposing hundreds of checkpoints, and demolishing our homes and future, with the hope that we natives would vanish once-and-for-all. Despite all of this, it comforts me that Israel's been exposed - in style. It clearly loves to publish such headlines in order to smear our image and give off an impression that we don't deserve statehood and that our just cause is a myth. But that's futile, because the World is on our side. The UK and SA are pioneering the inevitable sanctions on the Apartheid State of Israel. The reality as seen in 2007 is that Israel is talking 2-State solution but walking the 1-state scenario - which would be in OUR long term interest anyway.
43. #42 Hani
Michelle L   (06.03.07)
I read with interest your response. It was a long one so I'll just address a few points. First of all, I notice that you do blame the Palestinians for some of their misdeeds against one another, but you don't blame them for suicide bombings and other violence against Israelis. I guess that carnage inflicted on Jews is OK with you. I also must tell you that "cool headed #35", as you call me, is to this day traumatized by the images of Palestinians tearing Israeli boys apart with their own hands and showing their bloody hands to the cheering crowds as if that was their highest achievement: the lynching of boys who lost their way on the roads. Perhaps it is your people's failure to blame those Palestinians guilty of violence against innocent people, which has made many of us lose all hope of Israelis ever reaching an agreement with the Palestinians that will mean security for the people of Israel. The rest of your arguments, Hani, are based on empty rhetoric and not on solid historical facts. Except you are quite sincere on your last statement, when you say that a one-state solution would be in your long term interest. That's why Hamas, the party elected by the majority of Palestinians, refuses to recognize Israel. They are the ones who don't want the two-state solution, which Israel and the West have been pushing for. They think that by refusing it, they'll get everything one day. Perhaps. Then, again, perhaps you will just self-destruct. Not because of what Israel does to you, but because that is the way your societies tend to end up when they are in crisis and not governed by a ruthless dictator. Lebanon, for example. Or Iraq. That character flaw, and not the evils of Israel and the West, should be a topic for deep self-analysis among the Palestinian people.
44. Arab Male Ego strikes again
Gil ,   Tel Aviv   (06.03.07)
Male ego has a lot to answer for in this world. It has single handedly sought to start wars, maim, kill and murder. When women get in the way of male ego it rapes them. This is an example of the thug ego of Islam which has been left unchecked and its not all its just the tip of the iceberg. I wonder what else lies beneath the cloak of "hardline Islam". A group of cowering battered Palestinian wives and frightened buggered young boys?
45. #44 - Don't forget
Judy Y ,   USA   (06.03.07)
It's women who raise those men. They are the ones with the most influence during their formative years. Don't forget that women are also capable of unspeakable violence, usually against the weaker children, their own. And they often instigage violence against their daughters in law, and even their own daughters. When something like this happens in a society, both men and women are to blame. Men have the power, therefore the main responsibility. But women should not be completely absolved.
46. Hani; and the myths of the Pals
Doc Holliday   (06.03.07)
Hani you speak of occupation that is self inflicted. In fact, I would say the refugee problem with the Pals is unique. I know the truth sometimes gets in the way of a good sympathetic story to manipulate world opinion. To accept the Pals as downtrodden underdogs who are abused by the mean Israelis. http://www.netanyahu.org/crascourinre.html Read them all and pay careful attn. to #12. In regards to Palestinians as myth, here is interesting article about that very subject. Its called " The people that never existed". http://www.netanyahu.org/peopthatneve.html I would be interested is scholarly replies instead of personal attacks on the author or website. Put simply can you quote the 2 articles i've posted and refute any of it with verifiable facts.
47. 45
Gil ,   Tel Aviv   (06.03.07)
maybe you are right but in general Arab society and Islam in particular are patriachal. Its what the man says that goes not the other way around. Arabs often beat their women or in some cases murder female members of their family for dishonouring them. So in Arab Moslem cases as in this news report, its clear where the violence is coming from. The problem is that Arab women are stuck in a tradition where it is considered "normal".
48. Why should anyone care?
V. Veritas ,   N.Y., USA   (06.05.07)
After all is said and done...After all the "honour" killings, the beheadings, the dismemberments, the throwing of acid into women's faces, the kidnappings, the torture, the bombings and slaughter of innocent men, women and children worldwide—the sheer madness of the Islamic world, that claims to have the moral highroad—After all of that, every day, day after day—is it any wonder that no one cares? Muslims in their misanthropic madness are making themselves the pariahs of the world!
49. #48 - We should care because they live among us now
Judy Y ,   USA   (06.05.07)
And because the West keeps admitting more and more of them. And because our leaders keep saying that we have nothing to worry about, that they are peaceful people and that it's only the extremists that do bad things. Just look at the changes in formerly semi-secular societies like Lebanon, Iran, Iraq and Gaza.
