Is a travesty, we barely made it though last summers war here, and to find out that the hospitals which we depend on in time of war is not prepared for war is sheer stupidity. Fortifiy the Hospitals, kupat holims and fix up all bomb shelters in the North before you start anew war, because otherwise the homefront might not survie a brutal attack!

The next war will be against Syria, Iran and Hizballah. It will not only be a war at the front, in the Golan; rather, the enemy can be counted on to launch large-scale missiles into Israeli cities, targeting hospitals, government offices, military bases, power plants, sewage facilities, airports, chemical factories, etc. There will be little warning. The government is burying its head in the sand rather than beginning to prepare society for this. It is essential that the government begin to prepare the home front for this scenario, distributing vital services rather than centralizing them, establishing redundant systems and fallback plans and ensuring that communications are impossible to disrupt.

Olmert is finding money to compensate the people of Sderot important yes but not as important as finding money to fortify hosopitals. He is willing to give around $400 million in tax money to Abbas to strenghen him in the eyes of the palestian public. He is telling hospitals to find individuals to finance their security in wartime something that in any western society it would be expected of the government this isnt just negligence or trying to save money its a crime. Foeget the Bank Liumi investigation lets go after this man for the crime of neglecting the lives of Israeli citizens. What a shame the PM has his own private doctors paid for at taxpayer expense. Olmert, Livni, Peretz, Peres and the rest of the crooked bunch need to go and be replaced by a responsible government that places the securtity and interests of Israel before themselves.

What's happened to our money? This was money we donated during the war to help the hospitals, and rebuilding hospitals. If the government won't answer us and tell us what's happened to our donations, then we should rethink about giving anything to Israel via the corrupt government, but instead should send money directly to the causes. Let's face it, the current government are crooks and bandits lining their own pockets with OUR money!
