1. And still so sign of life of our captive soldiers!
Yosef ,   Jerusalem   (06.06.07)
Ynet makes sure to list every instane of fabricated palestinian complaint

Unelected. Irrelevent.
3. and just who is this kid?
izzy d   (06.06.07)
once again an article is published on ynet, where the reader is presented with one side of the story attempting to cultivate the readers rage. If we have been presented with all the facts i would tend to think that there is a bigger story here. After all the shin bet is wasting all this time and effort on an innocent youngster instead of perusing their real job which is protecting the state and its citizens. so perhaps they had a reason for their actions (if true) and a 17 year old is as capable of being a terror threat and a danger to the public. even the venerated and tortured john mcain agrees that a scenario which involves a ticking bomb should also include the use of torture.
4. Torture Al-Qaeda's style
Glenn ,   Canada   (06.06.07)
In a recent raid on an al-Qaeda safe house in Iraq, U.S. military officials recovered an assortment of crude drawings depicting torture methods like "blowtorch to the skin" and "eye removal. Sections of the manual, which became declassified recently, can be seen at The Smoking Gun, by clicking their archives tab.
5. the same will be done to israeli's captives.
papa jay   (06.07.07)
this is nothing new, pals are not only tortured in Israeli detentions, but on a daily basis at checkpoints. what doesnt kill u makes u stronger, unfortunate what happened to that kid, he'll grow up and blow something up, then Israel would claim he watched too many hamas Mickmouse hate the jews cartoons.
6. When will PHR be visiting Shalit, Regev and Goldwasser?
Cynic ,   USA   (06.06.07)
7. lucky to be alive
rj ,   england   (06.06.07)
i would much rather be a palestinian prisioner with shin bet questioniing me than an Israeli being held by the terorist palestinians...maybe with shin bet you get a few cigerret burns but with palestinians you normally lose limbs and sometimes your head...palestinians should stop moaning about their treatment..if the terror stopped there would be no need for imprisonment...
Ron   (06.07.07)
9. Physicians for Terrorist Rights
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (06.07.07)
Have they visited the captured IDF soldiers? Then they do not give a crap about human rights, only about terrorist rights.
10. RE-lucky to be alive
Nick ,   USA   (06.07.07)
Can’t believe that I am reading these poor excuses, for 40 years now you have tortured, killed and deprived the Palestinians dignity. What do you expect Palestinians to kiss any Israeli citizen they get their hand on, as rare as that happened? After hearing these comments, i don’t really blame the Palestinians for anything they do, you created the terror within and i don’t think the world should have any merci on you.

inhumane and proud of it too !!! besides, what isreali prisoner with palestinians terrorist ? the whole palestinian people are prisoner among there own country
12. Aaahh, yes. # 7: lucky to be alive
papa jay   (06.07.07)
the first intifada did not have terror it was kids throwing rocks at tanks. Remember that? at that time the "IDF" had a policy of breaking bones. stop claiming terror as a excuse. terror spurred in the last 6 or 7 years. what’s your excuse for the 33 years occupation?
13. No 10 and 11
Y ,   N   (06.07.07)
What about the arab treatment of the jew in palestine before the independence in 1948?
14. to #10 &11 No mercy for terrorists
andy ,   orlando,u.s   (06.07.07)
Until the arabs recognize Israel is here to stay and stop planning/committing acts of terrorism then Israel should use ALL means at its disposal. The terrorists have no humanity,so why should they be treated as humans.Israel owes terrorists nothing except a painful death.
15. to #11 yes,

by their own choice!
16. to #10 the Palestinians will
Dave ,   usa   (06.07.07)
always find an excuse to blow themselves up, and if they don't have one, they make one up....., how sad.
17. We better get used to it...
Mustafa ,   Canada   (06.07.07)
oops, I forgot, we already are used to getting tortured like that by Israelis. And this is one of the least dangerous methods of torturing that have been practiced on us by Israelis.
18. Thank you Israel...
Gene ,   Raleigh, USA   (06.07.07)
The same sickness that dominates your have imported to the US. Now, the seconded most hated country on the planet.

You boys at Ynet do a great job at hasbarah. No occasion is left untouched to selfloath, with poorly written articles lacking proper information and insight. Maybey you boys forgot, but we are at war here. Maybey less caffee lattes and designer drugs might clear the head for some real journalism, instead of all this yafut nefesh reporting. You realy invite and encourage all the israel haters to write and to incite. OH but i forget SM is in, in your liberal cool lifestyle.
22. several years ago
israeli ,   israel   (06.07.07)
before the net was a household commmodity, a young resident of Jerusalem was kidnapped by a gang of Palestinians. They tortured him, carved allahu akbar on his back with their knives and then stabbed him to death. The young man was slightly retarded, not an IDF soldier, not anyone who would have posed any threat to the Arabs. Just a handicapped young man taking a walk on a Saturday afternoon who had the misfortune to cross the path of a gang of homicidal maniacs. Now I don't condone the Shin Bet torturing Arab detainees, but a lot of people here rushing to condemn Israel might like to wait for the investigation to conclude.
23. What a load of nonsense
Talula ,   Israel   (06.07.07)
What's a 17 year old 'minor' doing in shin-bet custody anyway? He was obviously arrested for doing something. I assume he wasn't being interrogated for stealing milk; it must be something a whole lot more sinister. I guess that's what you get for playing big boys games when you should have been in school.
24. to Nick #10
Rebecca   (06.07.07)
And after 40 years of them blowing themselves up on busses and in our cafes, and making war on us from every possible side, why do you expect us to run out and kiss them? The strange thing is some of us still try. As for a 17 year old minor terrorist - they train them to be terrorists from 3 years old.

Your "big boys" gonna get it too(two) (shnehem);then what're you going to say to ynet.
26. Ynet
NYC Girl   (06.07.07)
This is an example of sloppy journalism at its worst. After reading this article twice, I could find no indication of the crime this "youth" was alleged to have committed. Somehow, I suspect he wasn't picked up on a traffic infraction. This piece of reporting is almost as bad as the crap that comes from the AP and Reuters.
27. #10 Nick-Nack-Paddy-Wack
Talula ,   Israel   (06.07.07)
Easy to mouth off isn't it. Do you know ANYTHING about the Israeli/Palestinian problem? Anything at all? Do you know the roots? history? anything? Maybe you should go and do some in-depth reading about the conflict here before judging a country on one article on the internet.
28. Those poor terrorists!!!!!!!

country that you come from, they wouldn't break their bones, they would just plain kill them, without asking questions, right Papa ?
30. to #17 Mustafa...

poor you......., that "poor me, i'm the victim" mentality, is the reason, you palestinians are were you are today, STUCK!
